Noted Transformers enthusiast and artist Tom Whalen has some new G1 Transformers prints up over at Acid Gallery.

All of the prints are 8×8 with the regular versions of each set having an edition of 100 that will cost $50. Meanwhile, the variant edition of each set only has an edition of 50 and costs $65. But the most rare edition gives each set a metal variant of which there are only five available for $200 each.

When you buy a set, there will only be five prints. The prints of Frezny and Ironhide will be randomly inserted in the Decepticon and Autobot sets respectively with only 20 available of each of those.

Very nice, I like his style. But Ravage would have made more sense to me than Rumble and Frenzy.

 

I generally love Whalen's work but these seem a bit boring to me, frankly.

 

These are awesome, very colorful and pretty.

wait I\'m not getting it. Your selling furniture like its booster packs? So if I want a complete set I might have to buy multiple \'packs\' and end up with doubles? at 50$ each?????

Yeah they're not his best, but cool nonetheless- I'd love an 86 movie reprint

 

Can't really afford the Autobot set but that set is awesome just because it has a stand alone Ratchet print. It's hard to find posters, prints, or any kind or wall art or anything focusing on just a single character outside the more popular Primes, Megatrons, etc.

 

That would be sweet!
