Yeh, it's deffo Bee, I can by him being on earth for years because it was never shown when or how Bee got to earth. Ironhide is the only one that's a very big stretch. Sure he could of came to earth and left again but again...Veeeerrrrry big stretch.

 

Dude! How awesome would it be if the Bumblebee movie was Bee with a VW Beetle alt mode and Dan Gilvezan voicing him set in WWII. It'd be like Captain America: The First Avenger except replace Captain America with G1 Bumblebee. Like, that be SO awesome! Oh, wait. This is Bay-formers. Nothing is ever awesome or well thought out in Bay-formers. Just boobs, poop jokes, explosions, and jacking off the American military. Not necessarily in that order.

I feel like they should just own up to it. Like, there should be an alternate version of AoE, but with all the Dinobots colored like their toys.

 

Interest in the movie is dropping with each of these new history focused Transformers things - i've no interest in learning a new history of the Transformers if they are just going to retcon it over (ROTF) and over (DOTM) and over (AOE) and over (TLK) again.

Pick a history and stick to it and get on with the story.

Looking sharp.  I wonder if they\'ll go into when Bee arrived as a scout then.  Since we never did see him earth fall, we have no idea how long he\'s been here.  All we do know for certain is that it was after Megatron by decades, but no clue how many.

The only thing this poster retcons at all is the side novel material including side comics, which is common to movies and their print material.

 

There's only really that one Bumblebee figure (he has a new mould deluxe and a voyager coming in wave 3) plus the Dinobots that are just old moulds. Even Drift and Crosshairs have been retooled extensively enough to make them feel like new figures. All the rest (the majority) of the line is new moulds.

Anyway, I wonder if this could be what the voyager Bumblebee will be.

Sure, why not. It's not like Resident Evil lasted 7 movies by sticking to a definite continuity or anything.

Have you even been reading the thread? The topic is very much about how problematic the timeline is getting with the constant retconning.

Nope, and I wasn't talking about this thread in particular, just a problem with this fandom and site in general. Like it or not, there are a lot of trolls and (as much as I dislike using the term) "haters"...

That being said, the writers room set out with the goal of creating a cohesive timeline, with all the meandering and conflicting storylines of the first four films, there was bound to be at least SOME retconning. Think about it, they had to explain how the allspark arrived on earth around the same time the primes were setting out on their sun harvesting mission. How can an event take place at both the end AND the beginning of the war? And assuming cybertron is a fair distance away from earth, how exactly did Megatron and sentinel's ark arrive within 100 years of one another when one was adrift for all that time, and one was utilizing powered flight?
