Neat image. I can't wait to see it in the actual film.
So true ahah xD
The image looka's weird, because it's a stereoscopic image (3D) converted to a monoscopic image (2D).
Bay said that he used a rack with two cameras positioned on top of each other to film the movie in 3D.
Taking a 2D image you have one camera positioned front and centre to the scene (O), but when you have a set of two cameras you have them positioned some distance off that centre (XX). It allows you to capture enough information to create a stereoscopic image, but you loose the information you would have had when standing in the middle.
The picture of a fence seen with 'O' would look like that || , but with 'XX' it will look like that \/ . That's why that screenshot appears 'curvy'.
Everything they seem to be planning with Megatron is hyping me up . Here's hoping Megatron and Lennox have a badass exchange in this scene.
Can't wait to see this scene.
Well if we don't get anything else today then this will have to do haha
I hope there's a Megatron clip coming soon.
The title to that link is a but disturbing
bumblebee yesterday ... megatron today
seems like they are starting to release more and more stuff ... hope they keep it coming
We should get an R-rated decepticon movie.
Lennox tells Cade "the operation is over" and Cade responds "we're not giving up on Prime." Lennox may just be following orders or realizes it's too risky for his troops. I think he goes rogue here and approaches Megatron about stopping Optimus. Since Quintessa wants to take over Cybertron, that would throw a monkey wrench into Megatron's plans.
Wow. Imagine getting hit with that with full force. That thing could easily one hit kill and Transformer if they're hit in the chest.
did anyone else read the post title as if was saying "yup Megatron is STILL in the last knight."
What does 3D smell like?
Yet another interesting still image from this scene, while we're yet to see more than a boring shot of Megatron slamming down his axe in any of the trailers. At this point, I'm half convinced these more interesting moments don't truly exist and will just be single frames dropped into the movie for nobody to see. Why else would they only be released as single frames in promotional material?
I would love a decepticon film !! not sure about the R-rating though
There is literally a scene of Megatron headbutting Optimus and then choking him with his own sword in the trailer.
Ease out on the paranoia dude, the movie is going to suck and every decepticon is going to get brutally murdered bu Megatron seems to at least get one action scene with Optimus.
I don't actually think these shots only exist as single frames. I'm taking the piss out of the film's marketing's refusal to put this scene in the trailers.
I don't know, I could totally see a movie centered around the DJD. Although considering the plot elements and formula for these movies, it's unlikely it'd ever happen.
