This is just my theory, but since he is represented in Rescue Bots, Titans Return, and now RID toys, what if Blurr is in The Last Knight? Blurr was in the 1986 movie movie with Hot Rod. What car was spotted filming with Hot Rod (and Bumblebee) in London? The silver Astin Martin. What if "Cogman" is really Blurr?
The Aston Martin could be Blurr, however, I don't think he'll be the last knight. It was stated by the production crew the last knight already has a golden armor, so I believe Bumblebee will end up being the last knight.
Was that what that meant? For some reason i'd got it my head they were talking about Hopkins' Odin Armour!
Bayian logic notwithstanding (wishful thinking I know), to me that doesn't make sense, because: 1)One of the main reasons Blurr was named Blurr is because he was one of (If not) the fastest Autobots, with a rapid-fire speech pattern and stream-of-thought to match; 2)From an alt-mode/car standpoint (and car experts, please correct me if I'm wrong), I seriously doubt that any Aston Martin could outrun a Lamborghini Centenario, or the McLaren, or any of the other vehicle alt-modes of his fellow Autobots; 3)I see nothing visually about the Aston Martin to tie it to the aforementioned previous 2 points I made. Then again, logic has never stopped the Bayverse from blatantly nameslapping names on MovieVerse characters just for the hell of it. . . If I'm wrong, I'm wrong - we'll know for sure come Summer. . .
"name slap" in bays world of transformers is dumb but I guess some forgot about the "name slaps" in the cartoons like sideswipe as a sedan that wasn't red or ironhide that was an off-road truck and not red. O forgot this is bays world where shit is screwed cuz its not g1 or the aec cartoon or the comic blah blah blah Anyway I honestly was thinking the same about Blurr last night seeing the RiD figures of him shown so if he was the Aston Martin, he could still be Blurr and have the fast speech. It doesn't mean he has to be a fast car but for some of u that would be ******ed right...cuz it's not g1 or the aec cartoon version or the comic...
However, the name slaps in the Bayverse are blatantly done out of place-that is the difference. By definition, the term "sideswipe" can be done by any kind of vehicle not just a Lamborghini and a Corvette, and something with an Iron Hide (denoting strength) does not have to be a red Japanese Vanette. The name Blurr denotes blinding speed, and I seriously doubt that compared to the speed of a Lamborghini Centenario especially, that an Aston Martin could live up to that name. I stand by my point like a Redwood . Case closed.
I think Blurr is getting enough attention in enough places that there would be pressure to put Blurr into the movie universe at some point. But I don't think that he will be put into this film. There is so much rumored to be going on with the Last Knight that I don't think they could introduce him and do him justice.
