I like the Hasbro head. Anyone try that on Uranos yet?

 

Wholeheartedly agree with what you've said. I love Uranos, and as good as the WoU set was, the original vision for Uranos was a cool design as well.

 

Wonder if Microblaze would come around and do another Silverbolt. It'd be cool if they did as the current Superion's thighs are too skinny.

Though despite myself I like both. Really wish I could bring myself to get rid of one for shelf space, but it ain't happening.

 

I cant say im not in the same boat, ive been trying to avoid the combiner wars stuff but as I am a glutten for punishment I want to see what plastic abomination hasbro has come up with for my self and thus far their superion seems to be the better of the 2 implementations.

something about flipping silverbolt upside down for combined mode bothers me a bit, that said im more excited to see how takara handles these.

 

I currently have my Uranos displayed with the new Hasbro head on. Took a lil sculpting putty in the head then drilled out a new hole for the ball joint but love the way it looks over the Wing of Uranos head.

 

I'm going to pick up a couple of the Hasbro Aerialbots but not enough to make a Superion so I'll be keeping my TFC Aerialbots.

 

I like Uranos, but I'll be getting rid of mine. If anyone in the EU is shopping around for a good deal, let me know.

Keen to see it too. I saw a photoshop but it looked like it was a tad too small. If when you take a photo I would definitely appreciate seeing a full body shot with the head on too (rather than just a close up).

I'm thinking about getting the SXS head upgrade and making a more G1 mouthplate for it but getting a Silverbolt is probably more economical.

 

I wish there was another option for Superion ... How tall is this guy next to UT's Not-Abom and MMC's Feral Rex? How about the individual bots compared to their individual bots?

How's the price for these guys and the quality? I heard a mixed bag of things. Really hurting for a Superion but I don't want a low quality/QC riddled mess.

 

I love mine, and didn't have any QC issues with it. Not sure how common or uncommon that is though.

 

Mine had 2 minor QC issues, one of Eagle's jet intake vents were unpainted, and Harrier had 2 right fists, but I've seen much worse things on Hasbro stuff. Overall, it's still a stellar set, and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
