    Hasbro's Superion or TFC's Uranos?

Mine was a bitch to get off too. I took the side plates off the balljoints and then pushed the edges of the crotchpiece from behind. Bit of force, but came off.

^^No need for that. Although I do like my TFC Uranos more, Hasbro Superion IS a lot of fun. Plus when unofficial add-ons are made for it, it'll be interesting to see how much better it can look.

In all seriousness, I'm actually trying to decide between the two.

i guess it depends on your budget and what size your are looking for. Do you have any other cominbers? Hasbro's is about the same size as the FP/MT combiners and TFC's is bigger. I think Uranos is still in good scale with the others myself. Hasbro's might be a bit small if you have other bigger combiners.

Check out the BST threads for Uranos and you might find a good deal on him.

I'm thinking of getting Hercules, Feral Rex, and the Unique Toys Abominus, but I don't actually own either of them.

I think Uranos is the better option if you want those two. I've been thinking about Wabo's brute to replace FP's but he is bigger than all of these guys so its another scale level, maybe if there is a good package deal i'll pick him up later. But if you want big then they are it for now.

Heres what i have so far just waiting for Guardia to come out now.

edit: FP Menasor is on my desk apart right now

np, the only issue i had with my Uranos were his hips. I got a Cybertron Prime though and used the springs from his hips.

His elbow springs can also be used for the fix as well, if you end up getting him and need springs let me know and you can have my prime for it.

The monetary difference between the two makes it too difficult to compare since for the price of all five Hasbro bots is about the price of one Uranos limb.

But if the money is no objection, then other factors will come in play....

Uranos (and with the WoU set) is a beautiful piece and looks great on the shelf. But the less fiddly Hasbro Superion is lot of fun to play with. And with the inevitable add-ons from unofficial companies, it's bound to get better.

    It's already begun too:

Those addons really make the Hasbro figure look cool. But I'm still sorta liking the aesthetic of Uranos more.

I know it was just me not paying enough attention, but I just noticed how pathetic the wings are on Fireflight. Wow those are stubby.

If you can afford it, Uranus is great. There is a lot of negativity around it, but i have always loved it. Nothing is without it's faults, but I have no regrets with it.

And the wings of Uranus is great also. I was always of the opinion that is optional and i have never minded it being a separate set. The way i see it, TFC sold their vision of it, and if you want it more G1, then that is optional. If you like their look, then you don't have to buy it and worry about it upping the price of the set.

Even though this looks great, I can't stop seeing silver bolt looking like he is standing on his hands. LOL

Do any of the Uranus jets have a gerwalk mode? IE jets with legs and possibly arms?

I'm tempted to get the Wings of Uranos set to arm up the Hasbro Aerialbots since all of the pieces have 5mm connection pegs and ports. I guess the chest armor would end up as Superion's back armor... that or a shield.
