if you are near LA, there is a Mitsuwa market in Little Tokyo that has candy toys there like rement. they might get these too.

The descriptions are kind of funny because they instruct to not eat the candy due to how old they are. I did some searching online and I see virtually nothing mentioning these. What I did find was a reference to some model kits that were sold a long time ago and included Convoy, Starscream, Sideswipe and Prowl (which matches these) but were sold in "egg" packaging like what comes out of vending machines.

Apparently there have been a ton of Kabaya model kits made over the years. Way more than I had any clue about before investigating.

Does anyone know more about these?

 

My money's on candy.

 

They came out in the 80s, not sure what 20+ year old candy will do to your system 

Don't have a full list of the range of colors these were made in, but if any of you guys just want a specific character.
Use the number found at the bottom of the box, shown in the picture. 09=Prowl, 22=Starscream, 04=Sideswipe, 00=Prime

 

Someone should tell BBTS that. That way they can also sell individual characters or sets of 4, and I'd be much more inclined to buy that since I'd then know what I would be getting.

I have all 4 of those. I got them from Toyhell.

 

I'm guessing they are long gone now? I tried looking on the site, but either I failed at searching (it's a confusing site, somewhat) or they are out. I want that old Kabaya Prime!

 

Can you please provide pics. I would like to see it these are worth the money. Plus when you said 4, what is the 4th figure.

I'm tempted on these, but the only one I really want is Prime and my luck with blind-boxed toys is horrendous.

 

gotta dig em out/find em. They aren't worth too much, they're partformers, but you probably figured that.
