In addition to the new Grimlock shirt, Hot Topic stores are also selling a new Tee featuring the G1 Decepticon crew (although Shockwave is absent). And it's available online at hottopic.com. Furthermore, there's a new G1 TF female shirt that's baby blue and features what reminds me of the old coloring book TF G1 images of Prime (with yellow windows?), Bumblebee (wearing a thong backwards), and Prowl. And it's also available online at hottopic.com. I should also mention that all their TF hoodies and track jackets are currently on sale for $10 off, although I don't know how long the sale will last. (But even at $35 they seem overpriced to me.)
I picked up the one with the Decepticon crew a few weeks ago. I was kinda disappointed that they didn't have one with the Autobots, but oh well.
I saw the Grimlock one last week, but I have so many TF shirts already. I don't have room for any more clothes. For the same price as that shirt I bought 4 new TF shirts from Steve and Barrys.
I took a closer look at my Decepticon gang t-shirt today and discovered that--like what frequently occurred on the G1 animated series--the artist screwed up the coloring on two of the Seekers by making them both look like Thundercracker. Call me trivial, but I took the shirt back, showed them the error and asked for a refund. As cool as the group shot is, the error would've always bugged the heck out of me whenever I wore it. And especially if another TF fan saw it and pointed it out...like I needed a reminder. I don't pay full price for defective product. They did have this one. Not the whole G1 'Bot gang, I know, but it's still a cool shirt. They also have the G1 mini-bots group shot on the hoodie, but I just didn't find them cool enough to warrant $45 of my hard-earned money.
