Huh. I saw these yesterday morning in Muscle Shoals, AL too. Didn't know they were anything new, but they were a little blobby for my taste so I passed.
In an era where Wizkids can pull off some pretty amazing mini painting jobs, these look especially disappointing, but for 12$ I guess you're getting the gumball machine paint job you paid for.

 

haven't seen this Jada 18pc G1 set in person yet, but Amazon's listing for it shows a horizontally oriented box (as opposed to the vertical box pictured above from Walmart)...

so does Jada typically have packaging variations like this, or are Amazon's images likely just early placeholders (and thus possibly incorrect)?

 

The one I received from Amazon is in the horizontal package that they show on their site.

how much is everybody finding this set for though? on amazon it's 24.99, but that first poster apparently found it at Walmart for just 12 dollars! that's a pretty large discrepancy - was he just lucky, or are others seeing similar prices?

 

I saw 5 of the 18 pack in my Walmart this afternoon, for $12. I'll be picking a set up when I go back this evening.

For anyone else who isn't sure of the exact scale of these Jada figures, I've added a comparison that should help. I wasn't familiar with the Jada figures before, so I wasn't sure just looking at the box if they were standard tabletop miniature scale or not.

i'm not usually into non-transforming Transformers, but at that price they look like fun little figures to pose with larger figures like combiners or city bots...  

 

What's that 3P Omega Supreme (disclose suit)?

 

Mechanic Studio & Mech Soul MS-11 Mini Sentry. They make a lot of KO Diaclone style suits, and made this one look like Omega Supreme. At one time there was a bundle with this and a "Doc" figure.

 

That 18 pack cost $54.99 on the Walmart site so why is it only $12 at the store?

 

More than likely just like Amazon and countless other websites out there, its probably sold by a 3rd party seller trying to rip everyone off as usual. You know for those people that have a FOMO problem But yeah they are $12 at the store
