This is a weird one, but I can't wait to have Dinobot and Starscream in back to back sword poses

and Airrazor and Blackarachnia in... different... poses...

The first sequel reveals that the unicorns are actually aliens from the planet Zeist.
The second sequel reveals that Zeist is actually a future version of Earth, after the end of human civilization. An artificial intelligence named the Uninet sends cybernetic infiltrators into the past to kill all the remaining unicorns.

That'd be Studio. Sludge and Swoop are already a know entity.

Yikes, did research and you might be right. I would much prefer G1 Metroplex. They both look awkward but UT Metroplex bending over to transform is rough.

Hope the PRIME characters have the g1 aesthetic. Been wanting a G1 style bulkhead for years.

Hooray! We're getting a SS86 Deluxe Ratchet for only eight bucks! At least it should be Deluxe since all SS86 figures are to scale.  Drag Strip is a surprise. I can understand if Hasbro wants to make a new tractor-trailor Motormaster, but do they really intend to redo all the Stunticons? I didn't expect Armada Starscream either. I'm comfortable with my Gen. Starscream, so I'll only upgrade if the new one include Minicon Swindle. I'm hoping Kickback is a precursor to new Deluxe Insecticons; the Legends figures a looking dated. I have NO idea what Arcee is doing there after we got already got a re-release of her Earthrise figure in Kingdom. There's no way Hasbro can improve upon the Gen. mold other than downscaling MP Arcee. Finally, if SS86 Rumble is in the works, I have to ask...... what colour will he be?

Which makes no sense. It simply begs the question:

Why does everything have to be a trilogy?

Seriously, what's the point? We had the Unicron trilogy, a Prime Wars trilogy, a War for Cybertron trilogy.... WHY?! What's wrong with a series of separate distinct toylines like Animated or Cyberverse? Why does Hasbro keep trying to tie everything into a three-pack?

Here's a question, are we going to get a replica of Starscream's anime design, or are we going to get something modern like Takara's Optimus? I wouldn't mind a modern take, honestly, there's a lot that can be done as long as it's still recognisable as Armada Starscream. That Armada Optimus looks fantastic and still immediately recognisable even with no colour.

Because it's a tried and tested formula that's clearly working, given HasTak's continued use of it. And it's not like the franchise isn't starved of new series not tied down by a trilogy.

    Because marketing.

Being able to rebrand every year with a new chapter while having an exit every three years let's you give the impression there's changes even if the underlying figures remain fairly consistent in style.

Not to mention each chapter has it's own little theme that ties in to a gimmick, and each trilogy is an opportunity to reset the expectations of what those themes may be.

Except there's no evidence that the trilogy format is 'working'. Animated and Cyberverse toys also sold well, so you can just as easily claim that selling figures in separate toylines is 'working'. Why not go that route instead of trilogies all the time?
