That'd be nice but I don't think it would happen at the $20 price point sadly
The price is right for 5 x Legends. It would be like mini Energon combiners.
Don't know if anyone's said this yet, but I'm gonna go ahead and call that the "leader" 'bee we saw yesterday is not a leader, but this "Cyber OPS" 'bee. Just sayin.
Anxious to see what that 5 pack is going to end up being.
When is Toyfair? This month? Or Feb?
Certainly possible, but I'm wondering what they've included in it for a $60 pricepoint, aren't Leaders usually $40-45? Or is it a new Supreme pricepoint?
The London Toy Fair is 26-28 January, Nuremburg is 4-6 February, New York is 14-17 February.
It's a possibility, but the $60 price makes me think otherwise. Unless Leader Bee is going to be given some sort of accessory or something. Though what they could include that would jump the price up by $15, I'm not sure. Maybe a Deluxe Ravage? to replicate the desert scene?
Hold on, a 5-figure set for only $20? A combining 5-figure set for only $20?
Unless somebody really screwed up with their counting and it's really Devestator Maximus repainted again or that it's the Legends Devestator all-in-one set, I think it might be with that "Power-Core Combiner" gimmick that we saw with Huffer and his new targetmaster; Caliburst.
Maybe they'd retool the toy to have BB be able to rip out his spine, which is pretty much all he did with Ravage in that scene? I wouldn't count on it, though...
Isn't the idea that there is not a "Leader" Bumblebee, but that the image seen is of this "Cyber Ops" Bumblebee, which is probably around leader-size or maybe a bit larger with some fancy electronic "Cyber Ops" gimmicks?
I'm thinking the five pack might be a set of one scout, four Mini-Con / Legends class characters, maybe a bit bigger / more complicated than average, combining in the style of Scramble City type combiners.
It's the listing I am most curious about.
Makes sense to me, since my contact at Hasbro said there was no leader-class BB. This would indicate why we were getting a larger BB (unless it was a hoax)
I'm pretty sure that "Leader" Bumblebutt is not a leader at all...
Nice that they may still apply the Human Alliance Concept on ther lines beyond RoTF, and maybe there are still more for RoTF as well, Maybe we could have a HA Bee and Sari for Universe 3.0
I am guessing that combiner 5 pk for 20 bucks could be an Energon Combiner repaint(I am speculating Energon Devs repainted as Rotf Devs)or maybe the Legends Class Devs!
Let's say Leader BB IS the CyberOps Bumblebee listed...I wonder why the price would go up by $15..I mean what more could it have compared to existing leader figures in ROTF?
The rest of the box was erased in the Bumblebee picture. Maybe it comes with more accessoires?
5 packs at that price have been traditionally legends figs. It could be like the aerial rivals from Xmas 2008. They could repaint 5 legends figures into gestalt names (ie cyb op into menasor) and call it a combiner pack.
ah this is a tease i want more more more
That's the one thing I can think of that would drive the price up $15. I think that if the figure itself was any larger than the other Leaders, it probably wouldn't have been called a Leader class figure back when we first heard about it. We'll just have to wait and see what exactly this Cyber Ops Bumblebee is. Though even just going off of the one picture we have, I have a hard time seeing that thing be any larger than the other Leader class figures.
This is something I'm finding odd, tbh:
Only thing I can think of, is that the second listing is for some non-movie related Deluxe class figures.
I kinda doubt the 5pk combiner set would be anything spectacular, probably just a Legends pack like Hooligran said.
Some of these sound promising!
