A lot of people are thinking the 5pk is one of the energon combiners, the price doesn't fit!
You see the price of $20 and that makes you think it's either a set of 7 legends figures(individually $4 each so $28, or the current Target 5 pack is $20) or a set of 1 deluxe and 4 scouts(individually $10+4*$7=$38 or the recent repaint gift packs: $30)?
Unless the price is a mistake, it's not an Energon gestalt repaint.
Unless the price and the number 5 are mistakes, it's not Legends ROTF Devastator.
Again, I'm guessing 1 powercore 'main' figure with 4 little buddies. Perhaps 2 that attach to his legs and 2 that attach to his arms.
Could the combiner be Legends Devs? I know there are 7 in Devs but, they may be wrong.
I'm happy about the prospect of the Activators and Human Alliance themes being continued.
All equally likely as well, really could be anything, which is what makes speculating so much fun
I'm not just thinking it.. I'm wishful thinking it..
Surprised to see the turn arounds returning. I didn't think those sold well. If anything they should return for Star Wars.
Look forward to new Activators! Admittedly I only have 3, but they are fun toys....basically the toycrack of Animated. Legends I can do without. I wonder what Cyber Ops Bumblebee is too. I figure it can't be Leader BB. I HOPE Human Alliance goes beyond the movie line. I LOVE HUMAN ALLIANCE!
I don't care for Hot Rod much but I'd buy a Human Alliance Hot Rod with Daniel and Nebulon Targetmaster in an INSTANT!
$20 - 5 combining robots = $4 per robot
Re-issued Micromaster combiners??
Interesting. I'm really hoping the 5pk combiner is something interesting for PCC. The price doesn't match an Energon Combiner, so it must be something new. It could be a typo for the Devastator 7 pack, though.
What Micromaster combiners do you think the 5 pack(s) could be? The US Micromaster combiner squads of 6 micromasters? Or the Japanese Micromaster gestalts of 6 micromasters?
If you think the 5 could be a mistake, then why use it in math to support an idea where there is not option of 5 robots?
5 pack combiners = shrunken down reissues of Superion, Defensor, Computron, Bruticus an Menasor. They have the technology to shrink down the molds and make these bots legends scale. Produce them cheaper and make more money.
Scramble City Resissues baby!!!
Think about it. I have to be right.
The 5 pack could be a 5 piece Minicon Power Core Combiner.
I doubt the PCCs will be $10.
I have a feeling the H.A. assortment is Barricade and Mudflap. I get the impression the line is not selling great and the last figures we get in it (at least until TF3) will be Barricade and Mudflap.
I wonder what Transformers Animation Laptop is. Could it be Device Label Blaster minus electronics?!
I'll definately be getting those combiner packs, but I wonder what the non-movie deluxes are for? Animated Exclusives? A new cartoon? Maybe even War for Cybertron? The $60 BB sounds very gimmicky to me, but does anyone think this could be the Leader Class one w/Hasbro putting it in a new box/size class to charge more?
My guess is something educational for the kids. Like those spelling laptops.
Oh dammit you'e right! Does this mean no more RH'S???? Then they better release Beast Machines Primal and Starsaber. This is sad if true.
Oh, I love speculation. It gives us something to look forward to.
Agreed, that would be more like $30-40. As per my previous post, my guess is some sort of Legends combiner set similar to the Micromaster combners of G1/Universe 1/Energon.
