take guardian off of your list, all of its components were released by hasbro, though not in the same deco, but that applies for slingshot and wildrider too, they werent exact takara releases either

In other words, there's just not really a precedent for a May Mahem-style release of the Autobot Targetmasters if they were to receive EX treatment. Our best bet here is to wait for Hasbro to walk to the beat of their own drummer and do their own...which I can't imagine won't happen soon with the Battlemasters and such.

 

im aware of what you are saying, but you also said guardian didnt see a usa hasbro release. double check your wording and youll see what i am talking about. defensor, including deluxe groove did indeed see release, so he should be removed from your list

 

Hope to see the Legends manga continue on online at least because they're too much fun to read.

You just described almost every manga out there considering almost every protagonist is always in middle or high school and even with fan service galore you can take your pick from pretty much any book store and find them.

If there’s enough of a demand for them I have no doubt they’ll gladly publish a book of a comic that already comes free with the purchase of the toy product their publications are based on anyway so it’s not like anyone is banning them.

Someone in another thread was saying the head moulds are repaints of other moulds. They mentioned metal hawk as pointblank which I can see but I’m not sure about the others, perceptor and Orion pax?

According to the wiki, in Targetmaster Chapter Prologue, the targetmaster's small forms were the Blowpipe, Furos and Terri-Bull moulds, so the heads in this chapter are probably Metalhawk, Skytread and Chasm redecoes

I wish Takara would post better quality scans of their online comics because these ones are fuzzy as shit. The comic itself is all kinds of awesome tho.

 

Original molds would be better and Punch would be a better mold for Pointblank.

Hell yes!! This is one time when I feel we need to vote with our dollars/yen...
Have to show Hasbro that we fans really support Takara, not Hasbro's cheap sticker covered McDonald's toy versions.

Anyway, I'll be hoping that even though I'm 1 billion % certain those are the molds that we'll get,
Takara will go a little bit extra for us and add some bonus parts like a new spoiler for Hot Rod/Pointblank
or a new rear section for Full Tilt/Sureshot. I mean, they'll clearly be making at least one new mold's worth of tooling
for those new heads they all seem to be sporting, it would cost almost nothing to throw in a one-part spoiler or two in there...
