Not doubting you or calling you out, but Slag is also another name for melted metal- hence the original derivation of the name for this character. Have we become so endlessly mired in PC talk that we lose entirely original character names due to the multicultural nature of slang?! Sorry if this offends, but that's plain stupid. How long before Slug is similarly wiped away because it means something offensive in Swahili? Jeez-us people.
Yeah not a fan of this design... This SHOULD be in color, doesn't give the art work justice in black & grey.. and just makes the shirt look very dull and boring..
Very cool (count me in on the want for an Insecticon shirt, too), even without color...but it's a bit pricey for a shirt, and with the shipping on top of it, thanks but no thanks--call me when it's on clearance, maybe.

Yes, that's the way of it. Same reason he was Snarl in Animated (they even poked fun at the concept in Season 3). You're also never going to see another Transformer named Slapper for the same reason, and lest we forget the incident where we almost got a toy named Spastic... It's a pity for sure, but Slug at least fits (slug being a slang for ammunition and all as well as being almost the same name). End of the day though while that may be his official name, you can still call him whatever you want in your collection.

Cool shirt, but I steer away from shirts with BIG pictures that take up the entire front of the shirt. Yep! I'm with ya, man. Stupid, indeed. I miss the days where if you didn't like something, you just didn't watch/listen to/buy it. Now, if one person complains, the other 9,999 have to accommodate that one whining bitch. Probably not long!
