I’m usually a big fan of soundwave toys, but this one does nothing for me. Ravage either.

wheeljack, brawn and Ratchet are straight fire, though.

Agree but we need a new VW Bee 100% first since Prime is a lot closer than Bee is

Also I wonder if they if they redo Prime if they'll redo him as his Earth or Cybertronian form

regardless can we maybe get a more accurate track
    mode?

But I can also see them just waiting till it's time for a SS ROTB figure in 2023 since it's his model from BB with more silver and a grill guard

Basically yes it's the same as BB just alt mode wise the silver stripe goes upward, the windshield shades are silver and hang down a bit more, and a grill guard are the basic changes alt mode wise. And his robot mode is supposed to be his BB model just with more silver in places and with the silver shades on his windshield probably some minor changes as well but we will have to wait and see when we get to see both the concept art and the CGI model in the trailer.

A lot of TFP figures (by which I mean every one I have except the Vehicon) have this type of problem. Knock Out's arms are just window bits with hands attached, which makes zero percent sense for a surgeon who needs to have some strength in their arms. KO and Breakdown both crumple easily. I think they tried too hard to get the visual design of the arms and legs "right" even though those characters were clearly not designed with any thought as to how or whether they would be able to support themselves as toys, let alone if they were actual sapient beings. And they didn't try hard enough to get the torsos right, especially on KO.

I bet I might have an idea. But this one looks better than Siege Ravage, the robot Pomeranian, or the cyclopic pile of knives and loose car parts that is Bayverse Ravage, so I'll get it.

OMG!!!! No tail? That's worse than I thought. Ravage should always have a lovely tail.

    And not be a Pomeranian.

The Ravage in this series is collapsible, but bears no resemblance to a cassette.

With regard to Siege Ravage, I have no effing idea, but I can't stand Siege Ravage.

Titans Return Ravage doesn't turn into a cassette. TR Ravage turns into a tablet or a mini-plane.

I know it's not a big detail/dea but Ravage looks weird without it at times especially since he's supposed to have a tail.

I love all of them and popped in here to say that Siege/Earthrise Ravage is the absolute pits. Horrible toy, even for a character that’s never even had a good official one, and a horrible design. Just dreadful.

I’m sure you can cough up $40 between now and the time these hit retail… but do you feel inclined to cough up $40 for this? Im not flat broke, but I am cheap and find myself waffling over SS Kup at $20. Can I afford it? Sure. Do I want it? I wouldn’t mind having it. Do I want to pay for it? That’s a different story.
So while I agonize over $20 Kup I get Threezero Dlx Optimus with nowhere near the internal debate.

And sometimes I’m just flat out messed up in the head…

But if you are that strapped for cash then digital window shopping just hurts more than necessary.

Nope, she is a deluxe. Why would she be a core class if she was around Brawn's size in the movie

Ravage is a cassette in the Bumblebee movie.

These all have surprisingly well designed sci-fi alt-modes. Shockwave and Ratchet both were pretty close to their Aligned/Evergreen alt-modes, but Soundwave and Brawn were both completely new directions that turned out great.

Soundwave reminds me a lot of one of those Hoth snowspeeders from The Empire Strikes Back. Really cool design choice for an assignment that could have accepted pretty much anything that didn’t hinder the robot mode too much.

Brawn totally has a War Dawn feel to his alt-mode. Looks like a realistic version of a Floro Dery animation model. Wheeljack also looks like a realistic TFA Wheeljack. The Ravage is a little weird though.

    These figs looks great!

Is SSBB ratchet the best optional CHUG Ratchet if you missed Siege Ratchet and ERGO Ratchet?

Ravage was inside of Soundwave's chest in the Bumblebee movie, which I've seen a few times, but I didn't think Ravage looked much like an actual cassette, of the type I still have some of because I was born in 1964.

By that argument why is Shockwave a Core Class?

Damn, these all look really good. Although since I’ve more or less shifted to legends scale, I’ll probably only get Soundwave. Ratchet is super tempting though. Shockwave looks nice for a core class too

I agonise over $20-30 figures all the time if I'm not that into the character, especially when it comes to Autobots... then turn around and drop an insane amount of money on something like Robot Paradise Soundwave because...

    Soundwave. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I think decisions like these say a lot less about our financial sanity or the amount of spare money we actually have than they say about which of these characters we love the most.

The best thing about these are the colors. Bayverse bots were often just a single color, and it made the robots look bland.

Gosh I hope Arcee is good. Hasbro might finally make a G1-style Arcee that isn't a shellformer.
Even the MPM didn't have an accurate truck mode, so I've lost hope. And I'm not really a fan of the new ROTB truck's giant grill/cowcatcher.
