Shockwave's alt mode is Do the Limbo/yoga accident?  

Well, these look awesome. I was trying to swear off live action Studio Series figure for budget reasons, might not happen anytime soon.  

 

I like to think of soundwave's alt mode as some sort of hovering vehicle

 

I can see what they were going for with Soundwave's alt as a ship design...Doesn't work. Doesn't at all work. Maybe if you squint and not look directly at it.

Brawn turned out really well, I have to say. I was curious what they were going to do for an alt-mode with that robot-design being so rounded, but that works. At least from what I can see of it. I would like to see better angles of all these alt-modes.

Shockwave is just straight up the TF-Prime alt-mode.

 

Shockwave being core class aside, i love all of these, especially the truely alien looking alt modes

These all look really good in robot form. The only one I'm not sure on are Soundwave and Ravage because, while the robot forms is perfect, the alt modes are literally nothing.

Ratchet, Brawn, and Shockwave are flawless, though, and Wheeljack is really growing on me.

 

I like how Shockwaves vehicle is reminscent of Prime, Animated, and Bayverse.

I\'m sure Soundwave is getting a lot of hate, but it\'s way better than Siege Shockwave. He\'s going to have a huge cavity to fit that Core Ravage. Overall I like it.

Ratchet nails the look, I\'d say it\'s pretty good.

Brawn looks fantastic in both modes.

I think Brawn and Wheeljack steal the show, but I might collect all of these.

I'm done with completism after this year, but MAN I am getting all of these. Soundwave and Ravage have weak alt modes, but otherwise these all look pretty awesome.

ESPECIALLY Brawn. Love they took his dome head and applied that aesthetic to the rest of the body, and his alt mode.

Positives:
- The robot modes look really great

- The vehicle modes (mostly) look great (look down at Negatives for why I say that)

- I personally think it's impressive how they managed to give Soundwave a vehicle mode at all. Soundwave's a pretty tricky one, especially with Cybertronian alt modes. I can understand why people aren't feeling it though.

Since we got Ratchet, I wonder if we'll get Ironhide too? Probably will. If we got two B-127s out of Cliffjumper, and Thrust out of Starscream, who we somewhat got out of Blitzwing (I say that since those two molds do share similarities), we'll probably get Ironhide out of Ratchet.

Negatives:

- Why is Shockwave a Core Class and not a Voyager Class?

- I'm not feeling Brawn's vehicle mode. Everyone else's vehicle modes look like good (Soundwave) to great fits, especially Wheeljack and Ratchet (those two's vehicle modes catches my eyes the most. I'd drive Wheeljack's vehicle mode if it was real)

Don't get me wrong, I think Brawn's vehicle mode looks good, I just don't think it fits Brawn. I could see that vehicle mode working much better with a different character.

Spoiler: I think something like this would've fit Brawn much better

 

so brawn, soundwave, and ratchet are instant buys. wheeljack looks good too but we saw him earlier. soundwave.... i will just pretend he doesn't have an alt mode because the design never considered one. i wish shockwave got a voyager. i kinda feel like accuracy wise these are better than what we've seen so far in the SS line for BBM.

 

Brawn looks really cool, and I've never said that about Brawn in my entire life.

I like Soundwave because it's Soundwave, but as someone with the Siege figure, I don't know that I need him.

He looks like the thing that "ISHN'T A CAAHR" that Christian Bale flew around with in The Dark Knight Rises.

 

This may be an exceedingly rare instance where I buy an entire wave. Haven't done that in years.

 

Actually love them all. TBH I think if Soundwave's gun went on the top instead of the side, it would actually look better. OR if there's two similar designed guns on the sides it would look a bit more balanced, but two completely different guns on the different sides is going to really throw me off. And Ravage...I look at his alt mode and all I can think is "Dammit if you don't stop licking that thing I'm gonna put a cone around it!"

 

These are some of the best SS figures I've seen, from the best scene from all the live action movies. I will definitely get them all! But will have to think about the core class Shockwave, I'm not sure if I want to recollect everything as core class.

Weird that Shockwave is a core class, makes me think they might redo all the figures as core class after they finish their Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader versions.

I'm not sure if I would go for all the core class remakes, but it would be cool for taking up less space, costing less, and sizing up better with figures like SS Devastator.

 

These guys look awesome! Really fond of Soundwave even though his vehicle mode is a bruh moment. The others look great as well, especially Brawn. He's just so... round! It's perfect.

Hopefully The Fallen and Sideways will be up to this level of quality when they come out too.
