If one recalls, AoE didn't really have any 'Decepticons' with personality, except for a little with Galvatron. Nooone else was a character you could write home about (Stinger was just there to be a red Bee-clone).

There weren't any Decepticons in AOE, Galvatron is the only sort of Decepticon.

 

You don't bring back a character, a liked character at that, beef up his alt mode, then release an image to hype said alt mode in a similar style to Frigging Bumblebee and have him as a D-list character. No way.

If that's the case where was the hype that he was back for DOTM? pretty sure people were surprised he was there. Hell i'd wager that wasn't even meant be him and they reused a model like Bonecrusher was in ROTF.

 

I hope this isnt true...cause man....we really dont need a new retelling of king arthur etc etc. really running outta ideas it seems. Time to bury the bay verse and redo the movie franchise.

The article does say that time travel has a history in these stories. I can't recall any time travel, so that's a red flag.

Merlin and the sword in the stone would be the stupidest thing they've done yet (but only barely).

I'm more concerned with the dinobots returning. Mini dinos would be fine, but as much as I liked the dinobots unless they square off against a con combiner, or something along the lines of Shockwave's driller, they're just overkill. I think it was a HUGE mistake making them so HUGE, but now it's cannon and we're stuck with it.

 

Barricade is the second revealed Transformer for TLK, after Bumblebee. Even if he is quickly dispatched, I would imagine that he would at least be addressed. For him to not be mentioned entirely is odd.

 

The tag team duo of Hasbro and Bay are freaking brain dead when it comes to scripts. I'm absolutely sure there have been many scripts handed to them that are vastly better but nooooo... Bay wants tons of explosions and minimal transformer time and Hasbro wants it dumbed down for kids.

please for the love of god Disney.... buy the franchise and save it.... well I guess its not in real danger but at least buy it and make it good.... and still let hasbro do the toys though

when he mentions the affects of time travle in these movies and we see what it's done, I believe he means when we see "over time and history" how the TFs lore and it's being connected to Earth has affected everything that happens on Earth. Their history and ours are very much intertwined. Our past with Dinosaurs, our past with ancient Egypt and Seekers, the Hoover dam being built to cover the Cube and Megs, our reason for the moon space race and the then total stop of continuing to go back to the moon and now possibly times of knights and "magic", King Arthur, Stonehenge and all that.

 

Barricade is back because Bee needs a nemesis and someone to be a thorn in his side in his stand alone movie.

 

Does anyone have that fake script for AOE that had time travel and Stonehenge in. Surely they haven't borrowed stuff from that ?
