i like how the art is toy-accurate in that neither of them can hold the matrix.
This still does not need to exist.
It's a waste of good materials that could be used to make more of the good figures. We need a lot less of crap like this. There's making your money back on a mold investment and then there's just whoring it out for the purpose of just doing so.
They've long since made their investment back, this just makes Hasbro a bunch of plastic pimps.
while i get that this set is to commemorate the Anniversary of the movie, it seems a really weird offering right after you've released a much-improved Galvatron and announced a much improved Hot Rod.
basically, this seems like it would have been much more exciting a year ago.
Far better than the other stock images because Rodimus is properly transformed in these ones.
Do you think we'll ever get a real CHUG Rodimus Prime?
Totally forgot about this set. still no desire for it. I fully expect it to shelf warm.
Polishing turds has never been a more apt term.
Hope so. I'm hoping for one in the same style as Leader Magnus that has the trailer part transform into part of the robot like the Titanium toy.
On the flip side, none of the newer molds even have a Matrix, holdable or not.
Seriously, is anyone out there planning to buy this?
ughhh that's one hell of an ugly set imo
QUALITY: The two-pack.
Really, you'd have to be ignorant or hate your money to fall for this.
Well its a good-deco US release finally of the shitastic Universe Galvatron.
But how is that Rodimus? Never got him the first time. Looks pretty interesting for the size.
2 things, first why is the box so big? i mean, really, that is a lot of empty space, and that can hurt people trying to import it (like if), 2 voyager can fit in there
second, why does rodimus still need diecast parts? that is the main reason the figure sucks, the badly placed diecast(entire legs, the arms the chest) it doesnt help balance, it doesnt help durability, it makes the plastic joints too weak to hold any pose
decowise they look great but really, such a wasted potential
and again the matrix they cant hold, though they learnt from the 2 classic rodimus sets
I have a feeling that this rodimus mold is the same mold they released many years ago in their titanium line.... it had its problems like the gun not staying in vehicle mode and the upper body would not stayed tabbed in when lifting it....anyway I'm going to pass...
I find it kinda hilarious that the stock images don't even transform Galvatron correctly.
Meh by yesterday's standards, hilariously bad by today's. It's not a bad concept, but the face is beyond dopey, the forearms rotate instead of having a bicep swivel, and the entire upper body juts out away from the lower body and back, leaving a big open gap through the midsection.
I don't understand why the didn't just do Springer as Rodimus and TR Galvatron in Marvel comic colors. Would've sold like hot cakes.
