eh, for as simple as he looks, like all of Siege he still looks about 20% overpriced to me.
$60-65 would have been the sweet spot. I think at $80 this guy will absolutely rot on shelves (if he even makes it to B&M retail)

I hope the faction symbol is a sticker. Not that it would be hard to remove. Just an extra annoyance lol. Getting him no matter what, though. Finally a G1 Jetfire.

The more likely case (given that he is such a large size class) is that its a part that flips between Autobot and Decepticon. after all, they did say that this line won't have stickers.

For those who want the option to faction-swap, the good news is that this is possible without the horror of stickers.

I dig stickers. But the alternative is cool too.

Also, I knew he looked good and was heavily toon, but before now I never this closely compared them. WOW does this look good.

Not defending them or telling anyone else to be okay with them.   Just saying I'm fine with them personally. (I even find them nostalgic, to be honest.) YMMV of course.

 

But I loved stickers though.

 

I don't mind stickers. I just generally do not like factory-applied stickers, because inevitably there'll be something wrong about them to tweak my mild OCD tendencies, and I can't fix them.

Plus, the foil stickers with their tendency to curl up at the edges kinda suck.

 

Stickers are fine so long as you can apply them yourself.

 

Jetfire looks so good, it's scaring me. I almost can't believe how huge of an increase in quality Siege is over the Prime Wars trilogy, and Jetfire is the epitome of that.

 

I'm betting the plate, the symbol is on rotates given that it is its own part, that would be unnecessary if it was just stickers.

Ugh! No. They're really not. Speaking only for myself, I mess up the application almost as often as I get it right.

I realize this is just my opinion, and I hold it a bit more strongly than is perhaps fair. But I really don't want to see Hasbro either use, nor ask US to use, stickers ever again.

 

Omega base mode is shit, I'll gladly live with my 3rd party one, but Jetfire and Mirage are must haves.
