I personally want them to take it just a little bit further and redo updated earth modes (mini masterpiece style) for a majority of the characters who were combinerized in the last trilogy, sprinkle in the obscure guys too. Cosco got metro for 79 and then 3 months later they dumped him for 50 nationwide just to get rid of stock. so that is the first 3 titans that hit the US that all were readily accessible to just about anyone who tried to find them for 50 or less.

man im looking forward to seeing jetfire and mirage. they look great. pass on the rest. also excited for the future springer. i hope none of these will disappoint because i have yet to buy a siege figure.

 

You have to look at the hi-res photo, rather than that thumbnail he just posted. The fist, from head-on, shows a significantly deep gap between the fingers and the back plate of the hands, so the fingers are a separate piece.

Whether that means they're articulated, or if the back plate is separate to cover hollow gaps is another matter.

That was technically the Skyfire design. I'm personally comparing it to the classic Valkyrie toy design Jetfire had. I've never really been a fan of the Skyfire look but that's just me.

I'd be a bit more interested if the alt-mode looked a little bit more like a jet and less like a Minecraft recreation of a jet... and if the battlemask didn't have Jacksfilms' cranial structure but hey, that's just my weirdo opinion.

 

Who's does that robot mode look like? Because this could be a hint at who it might be repainted as.

In his normal photo his hand is in a fist position but when looking at him holding the rifle his hand is in a gun holding position

 

He just looks like the G1 toy/Macross toy to me, or an homage to it. That said... I wouldn't mind seeing him repainted as G2 Dreadwing. Wrong alt mode and look but at this point I'm so desperate for a proper Dreadwing with the bot-in-bot gimmick, I'd take it.   I'm probably the world's only G2 Dreadwing fanboy. No idea why. He was just cool.

In my headcanon the Siege figures are 2005+ versions of the 80s cast - so they're set in the future, not the past. Therefore, Siege Jetfire is going to be Skyfire, the scientist stationed on Cybertron and Thrilling 30 Jetfire is going to Jetfire, his warrior brother stationed on Earth.

I'm ending the Jet/Skyfire debate by finally making them 2 separate characters!

And Thrilling 30 Jetfire is actually super COMBAT system compatible, so he'll fit in with Siege just fine.
