Ordering omega as soon as there is a link

 

I'm betting it's a reflection from the inside of the canopy reflecting off of it somehow.

 

Omega\'s shoulders are a wee bit small... should be beefed up 20% or so...

 

Impactor has an identical joint to Mirage's waist peg though. It's just placed below his chest instead of at his actual waist.

Jetfire is probably unable to have one due to the fact that his chest's nosecone goes thru his entire torso. Omega is impossible to tell either way, but I don't see any signs that he can't have one either.

 

I know it's just a render, but still they take into account reflectivity settings and whatnot. I used to work in 3D myself.

 

Sigh.....Hasbro green lighted Bay having Optimus rip a Decepticon's face apart with HOOKS in a live action film for all children to see!!! The torture some of you are so squeamish about in comic books didn't stop at all in those live action movies so when will the blatant hypocrisy stop...(They released an Optimus Prime with actual hooks!)

For the sake of argument, if these figures are made then the DJD's backstory could be watered down a little w/o completely compromising their essence. But if some of you don't like them as a group, fine...... I guess I'm just one of the few collectors who don't need 10 more OP's, Bee's, Starscream's and Windblades in the next 3 years. Some new characters that deserve a chance at retail would be nice especially if we don't have to wait another 35 years to buy them like Reflector (Refraktor).

 

Now, are we 100% sure that the Cybertron-style Leader OP is coming out in the Siege line? Have we seen it in a Siege box? Is it possible that it is destined for a UT-inspired sequel line?

 

Hope we get a SDCC exclusive or even better not any exclusivity for a repainted Guardian Bots

 

I\'m getting all My Micromaster Bases and building a city with Omega as the space port. I think i\'m only missing Countdown an the small Micromaster combiner bases.

oh and i need a Trypticon, to recreate scenes from Godzilla

 

I'm more inclined to believe Takara would make that before Hasbro. and it would probably be a Takara Tomy Mall exclusive.

 

I wouldn't do that. you never know man. Hasbro may have those Micromaster Bases in the Works already. who knows?  

 

With Jetfire on the horizon as a proper replacement for Leader Class Jetfire/ Legends Skyfire, would it even be possible to get a Commander Class Sky Lynx? It would make sense as he was always a larger beast, but not big enough to be a Titan Class. I\'m half n half on that. While Omega Supreme is an insta yes.

 

Nah. If you look carefully, you can see that Omega has to rotate his torso for transformation to alt mode.

Since Hasbro is working with a unified scale with Siege, and there aren't that many non-combiner characters between Leader and Titan size, I'd say Sky Lynx has a pretty good shot. And possibly within the WFC trilogy, even if we're only getting 1-2 Commanders per year.

 

Well we haven't seen Takara do something different *coughs* potp but still that's a possibility

 

Well I think they still have that deal For Trypticon at BBTS at $60

 

My impressions:

Omega Supreme
I'm not really an Omega fan (except Animated Ark Omega)
But this is way better than expected in both modes.
If I have this sort of disposable income, then this would be my first Titan Purchase.
None of the other ones have such a spectacular base mode and He looks to have ankles!

What does he have in his shins???





Jetfire
This is perfection. Some things I've noticed:
- Backpack seems unused for transformation... but has seems and changes in detail. What's in there?
- His elbows have weird extra joints
- His helmet while nice is missing the gun ears
- Some of the best looking feet ever (Feet are often overlooked ala CW Megatron, or Mirage here)



Look how big this mostly red pack is, whats inside?


What's going on with these elbows?, I must know! Also, no gun ears. That's okay though.




Impactor

Impactor Looks really bad here, but so did Siege Sideswipe and Optimus in the renders.
Lets assume that the face will look better in plastic.
The giant hollows in the legs are probably the result of having to make this a tall deluxe.
I think the tank mode is salvageable and could be used for Straxus or Warpath, there's a lot of Megatron there.

 

... that's not a very good reason.

Again, since Hasbro had already shown Omega's tank/head.

Hasbro's also doesn't cost $90 so *shrug.*

 

Hope that backpack stores all the accessories

 

Pretty interesting stuff.

Omega Supreme is the best of the bunch without a doubt. I'm glad we're finally getting a figure in the right scale for him. Countdown is a nice and logical addition since OS is reminiscent of his original base with the big missile and everything.

Jetfire is cool but just like Prowl, a bit too G1 for my taste without enough modernizing to make him stand out. The aesthetic is a bit bland.

Mirage seems fine. Nothing more, nothing less.

Mixed thought on Impactor since I love the fact that he's getting an official toy that is even based on his original Marvel UK appearance but at the same time, the toy is not the best due to the overly-hollow legs and other issues.

Overall, Siege continues to be promising and I hope these are released soon.

 

Guys maybe since Omega doesn't transform into the ark we might get an ARK base I guess?
