I wouldn't mind if they take out the usual robot civil war theme and try a different direction. Do it as a OVA series to see if viewers will buy into it.

    CSI: Iacon

The crossover appeal will be huge. Huge, I tell you.

my vote for the lead csi guru who seems to know everything goes to Night Beat. He even has the sunglasses that he would rarely ever take off even at night

The Beast Era called; it says you're talking complete drivel.
    I agree with it.

Galaxy Force I'd say was the best of what Japan has made that was then dubbed in English... just a shame they f**ked with the continuity so much with they did dub it

Ever seen that show Penguins of Madagascar or the old Timon and Pumbaa show where they take some comic relief characters from the background and give thems a series?

I hope we get "Autobot Twins adventures" starring Mudflap and Skids as they roll around earth fighting decepticons as superheroes. It is a perfect show idea.

I'm a supporter of Japanese anime. Those things are what really gives Transformers their awesome reputation. Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory are such. Devil Z(Masterforce) in particular is a Destron favorite. You got to see lots of things getting destroyed, attack sequences and all. Years later, the contents were reduced except for the live action movies.

I don't know. I've seen all of Headmasters (singapore dub), some of BW2 and Neo, RiD, Armada, Energon and Cybertron and I have to say... not so good.

I think I'm gonna watch the movie before deciding the perfection level of that idea. :)

How cool would that be...I agree though, wishful thinking :(

I agree with a lot of the previous comments; we need a new series that balances writing, action, style, etc. Why not make another series similar to what BW did . . . tie the story line into a previous series?

Huh? Neither of those shows are TF shows, well unless you count Jetfire. :)

If you're trying to use those two as examples that JP animation is worse than NA animation,it's kind of a poor comparison, since those are pretty old shows. It would make more sense to compare Macross to G1 TF,wouldn't it? And I'd be surprised if,brand loyalty aside, anyone really thought G1 was a better show than Macross.

The fact is, North American animation is great at putting out comedy like Simpsons,Sponge Bob,or TF:A,but drops the ball when it comes to actual exciting action. Name a decent animated action show from NA? Off the top of my head, all I can think of is Aeon Flux, and G.I. Joe Resolute.

I won't comment on the general quality of cartoons from your side of the pond, since I've only seen Duckula and Danger Mouse. Both awesome shows, but again humor, not action.

I just really don't want a show where we get formulaic transfomation sequences. I know it saves on animation, but they didn't do it with Beast Wars, and they could "not do it" again. Also, yelled attacks are no good. An animation style similar to the Spawn cartoon would be AWESOME.

Also, war is violent, so if there are any children in the series, they should be TERRIFIED OF DYING, not eager to get involved... until they get their own mech suit. :D

Well, I know that there are tons of things they could do, like Transtech, Shattered Glass, or even a "Transformers Reanimated" show, but I'd prefer a new take on or a continuation of the Beast Wars. I loved Beast Wars as a kid, and I'm sure kids today would like the show too. Great writing, awesome battles, and character development! But now we have the technology to make it even more awesome with revised graphics. I know Mainframe still exists in the form of Rainmaker Entertainment.

I'd probably go with either this or this, for lack of any better ideas of my own.

Make it 'Blitzwing and Lugnut: Laurel and Hardy Gone Mecha' instead, and I'm sold.
