In light of the GDO Springer’s that were modified to have a second Cybertronian APC mode:

I think he needs to rid himself of those crappy 4-blade rotors and get new dual-blade rotors that transform into a sword, just like the one his G1 predecessor had, in order to make him into a true Springer.

I’ve been looking into other “chopper-bots” to find such a device and one that comes closest is the rotors/swords from Animated Leader class Shadow Blade Megatron.

However given that Shadow Blade Megatron is Leader class, I fear that one of the rotors/swords might be to big and/or bulky for GDO Springer, who is Deluxe class.

This pic of one of the swords from Shadow Blade Megatron in the middle of Universe Classics 2.0 Deluxe Prowl and Generations Deluxe Warpath demonstrates the size of the blade to the size of any Deluxe class figure.

If that is the case, one of our Shapeways “blacksmiths” (fakebusker83, MoonBaseTom, citoria, etc…) should design and produce and upgrade kit of dual-blade rotors that transform into a sword in the same manner as the one(s) from the Animated Leader class Megatron mold (just like in the 2nd cropped pic from Animated Leader class Megatron’s instruction manual).

Took a look, the rotors are definitaely too big, but trimmed down, but then it wouldn't look right because the blades wouldn't come together at the tip. In robot mode it looks awesome, almost like Cloud from FF7 holding his sword, but alt mode it looks pretty ridiculous.
