That's a really good idea; I never thought of that before. Ravage would be sweet as a robot replica. This toy looks very good though. I'll have to see more pictures before I decide if it's worth picking up or not.
spike So are these spikes going to be all soft rubbery plastic? It seems odd that they could get away with all those spikes. He looks pretty neat considering he is a movie design, at least he looks like a cat.

Sweet thing. Don't even care if he transforms or what he transforms into..this mode alone is good enough for me.
I'm with you there. Although the 'stand-up-robot' is what we'll probably get, like Skorpy, mine will never see robot mode more than once.
nice! if he transform into missle he should be compatible with voyager/leader Soundwave, but unfortunetly there won't be other Soundwave toy, only preview deluxe which is a shame!

I agree it does look like something from Zoids. Even from the blurry picture I thought so. Still neat though.
Its g1 black/silver to begin with. I don't see any faults in this mode. I'm surprised it looks so pretty in hand without hasbro lighting. But the new image shows panel lines. Should to be exactly like beast wars shadow panther: except no fur .
