Me too. I hate to say it but i think that he meets the same fate as Jazz in the first movie. Meanwhile, Herp & Derp or whoever they are, are going to get a lot of screen time and I think one of them actually kills Devastator... or so I heard. I havent heard one blip about Jolt though and I am curious about what kind of role he has as well.

I think the other guy is sideways.

I don't think that Dimmagio is Sideways, I think he's the Fallen. He'sknown for playing tougher characters, such as the Brute Chieftain in Halo 3, and of course Marcus Fenix in Gears of War. I don't think he'd really fit Sideways depending on what he know of him.

 

He also played the laid back heavily accented Wakka in FFX and the comical sword swinging putz that is Gilgamesh in FF12. The man has variety, he's not just "tough guys".

Interesting. So I guess Mouth04 (aka Daniel Ross) didn't get the Starscream role this time. Too bad, I hope he gets another role in the game at least, even if its just 'Additional Voices'.

I very much agree. I love G1 Meg-voice. But doing "exactly" the same voice for movie-Megs...MovieMegs is scary; G1 Megs it felt like it depended on which side off the bed he got up on. I think if some of the gravel could have been taken out of G1Meg-voice, Welker would've been fine for the movie.

 

Good actors they've got there: a big yes to DiMaggio and Taylor, even if they do only end up as videogame stand-ins.

Though I will say that I want DiMaggio to do his Dr Drakken voice from Kim Possible for Sideways; not because I think it'd fit the character or anything, I just think it'd be hilarious.

Im now imagining the Fallen spurting the kind of terribly written dialogue you'd find in Gears of War. I dont think they could make him any more awesome. Ever.

Wow, Adler's Starscream voice really sounds like Dinobot when it isn't modulated. Shame we couldn't hear any more of the actual voices themselves.

Still, that video just jerked a realisation in my head: James Arnold Taylor as The Fallen? I like him as a VA, but I associate him more with that kind of Leo-from-TMNT role that seems to suit his natural speaking voice? Isn't he a bit light for The Fallen, or does he have a better range than I'm aware of?

Those game shots made me happy. Especially the shot of Ironhide, Prime and BB together and Ratchet actually doing something.
