Found these in Meijer Lincoln Park MI

I have not seen or heard of these yet,

They are remolds of the same ones with clear parts, and a weapon to hold.

 

Nice...do you remember what the price was on these guys?

We've known about them for a while, but this is the first store sighting, if I'm not mistaken.

Damn...Sorry, I totally forgot to look. They were sitting in the same rows as regular RBs, so I assume the same price point.

The "energized" parts are kinda random...

You'd think they'd remold the faces to make them a bit more accurate.

 

Has anyone done an in-hand on the non-transforming RB figs? I'm sorta curious about those guys...

They're probably a bit more than the normal ones, which were like $13.99 at my wal-mart.

 

I want Bee and Prime with their new weapons... They don't look too good though.

 

I do like the rescue bot emblem that is the autobot with the extra flash. I hope all of the new figures and bots carry that emblem. My Cleveland Walker has a standard drab autobot insignia on him and his weapon/jack hammer thing.

I spotted the statuesque new figures at a NC Wal-Mart today. I was disappointed that the more accurate figures just stand there. I want articulation! I also want a female figure to add to the line up with my Catwoman and Wonder Woman from Imaginext.

Perhaps I want to much.

 

I bought a set for my son for Christmas. Unf, the humans are just statues but the likenesses are very good for humans and bots.









& proof of purchase, they are $6.88 apiece

 

so what's the gimmick with those? Some speculate there are magnets...or they vibrate..any word?

 

Rescue bots 2 packs are out at retail

I bought a set for my son for Christmas @ Walmart yesterday, didn't know they hadn't been sighted yet till I saw the news about the full size ones in the energize line. These guys are $6.88 apiece.

 

Not sure, I didn't open them since they're for my son, but I'll look on the back and see what it says - just looked at the back, doesn't say anything about a gimmick.

 

I'll have to keep an eye out for these transforming Energize Bots to keep my sons' collection complete. I think they might like the clear plastic bits. Right now my TRU just has a bunch of Boulders. Nobody wants the poor guy anymore.

Still undecided on the other figs since they are not articulated. However, my sons might not mind the lack of articulation since they look like the show. Are the human characters the same size as the previous figures?

 

So there's finally a blue Chase that isn't even butchered too badly by the clear plastic gimmick. Nice for the collectors and kids who wanted a more accurate version. I wish they would make show accurate versions of these guys and put them in the classics lines, I love the show designs but these toys just don't do it for me (understandable since I'm WELL outside the target age-range   )

 

I like those show accurate ones...gunna have to get me a Heatwave!

 

I appreciate the need to keep them from being choke hazards but the mobile line of moving people seems perfect as is. Statues of the characters, even more accurate, doesn't make any sense to me. I miss the mobility.

Yep, they're out and I've been buying them for Xmas gifts for my nephew...of course, I kept the Chase and Charlie one for myself!!  ....hmmmm...maybe Heatwave too.

It was funny to me that Optimus and Bee got in there b4 the other 4 bots RESCUE Bots, but that's okay, got those for my nephew too.



 

 

Besides cartoon accurate humans that can move, which would combine the best parts of the first year and the Energize, I want Rescue Bot style humans Jack, Miko, and Rafael from Prime. Dani and Miko would both make great female additions to the Rescue Bot human style offerings.
