Looks very Bludgeon-ey to me, but then it's hard to make out the detail. I tried photoshopping but there's really not much more to be seen in that pic due to Jpegification.

I'm sure I see teeth, though.

 

BTW i don't know if it's been pointed out but that's a Decepticon. He has red glowing eyes which is the eye color of the Cons. Finally some color on the bad guy side.

 

Why are people saying this looks anything like Hot Rod/Rodimus?

It's clearly a skeletal face with a "samurai-ish" helmet and glowing red eyes.

As has been pointed out, it's almost certainly Bludgeon.

 

The picture is so vague and washed out..I'm not convinced it's a skeletal face and red eyes just yet. Looks like it, and the shapes on the helmet seem to match Bludgeon, but I'm still thinking we could get a better shot the next time and it might look different.

Besides, with almost all Bayformers bots looking nothing like their old counterparts, why would we expect Bludgeon to suddenly look spot on to his old self?

 

almost kind of sad that no one can figure out who the heads belong to in these movies unless the people involved with the movie flat out tell us... oh, except for shockwave.....

Well it sure doesn't look blue to me his eye color...

 

BW Inferno, Terrorsaur, Megatron? Scratch that. G1 Hot Rod, Red Alert, Swerve, Windcharger, Cliffjumper, Gears, Orion Pax, Tracks, Mindwipe? I have no clue, but the speculation can go and on.

 

I hope it's Hot Rod's head and I hope it the Red Wrecker!!!

 

I still don't see Hot Rod. Hot Rod never had a crest in toy form or animation model, his helmet didn't cover his lower face like that... And I would think Hot Rod's head would be a little less... I dunno, creepy?

I'm really, really thinking it's Bludgeon.

 

Rather than just pulling a name out of my ass, I'm going by what we've seen. The red vehicles are the Ferrari, Rollbar, and the Red Nascar. I'm leaning towards this head belonging to the Ferrari.

 

I really hope the ferrari isn't hot rod.

 

Candidates; Rollbar, HotRod or one of the red Wrecker..

 

I'll say it's Bludgeon. If it's true then I will straight up lose my mind.

 

I don't know, the face structure seems too malicious. If there's one thing the movie designs get right, its the distinct facial structures of the Autobots and Decepticons.

 

But Frenzy had Blue optics...

 

I'm guessing the red head on a stick belong to hotrod who is the ferrari.
