God I hope it's the 2007 design!

 

Alright so that’s definitely a new Leader 2007 Megatron. Here’s hoping we can finish some of Siege’s currently incomplete Micromaster teams in that 10-pack.

 

Yessss... So i wonder, are they going to be redecoes of the existing micromaster molds?

 

I'm assuming that the Micromaster pack will be the current molds repainted as the non-team guys, such as the base partners.

 

That's what I was thinking. I can also see them repainting the cassette molds and throwing them in there as well, like Buzzsaw from Lazerbeak and Stripes or who ever from Ravage.

 

Maybe a few redecoes based on some of the Zone Micromasters perhaps. Or in Lazerbeak's/Ravage's case the Cobalt Sentries

 

I hope so, but there are 12 missing Micromasters. The math doesn't add up. =/

 

I guess it would depend if the 12 missing Micromasters are new molds and the 10-pack is some sort of re-deco set ala that one K-mart minicon 10-pack that mostly consisted of those. Either way, the missing two members of each micromaster team will be added in some future part of the trilogy's toyline. Depending if they want to continue the size class.

 

I was thinking about the Cobalt Sentries as well. Speaking of potential Siege Micromaster redecoes...

Roadhandler: Gunrunner (Zone)
Storm Cloud and Whisper: Skyhopper and Groundshaker
Big Shot and Flak: Gunlift and Powerbomb
Laserbeak and Ravage: Howlback and Garboil
Stakeout: Holi (cartoon colors)
Hyperdrive: Clipper or Gingham
Powertrain: Ironworks

That nets us 10 possible redecoes for this set,with Swindler,Red Hot,and Highjump as the only molds left out (and a nice variety of US and Japanese characters).

 

Considerig most, if not all other figures on that list are either known or at least assumed to be exclusives, there's a chance that Megatron might also be an exclusive. Possibly some sort of special edition redeco of the DOTM figure?

 

Megatron could also be a redeco of the TLK Leader Megatron. Just saying.

 

The phrase Mega Value makes me think this is, like a similar RiD2015 Minicon box, a straight repack

 

wait: we have product codes for soundblaster and bluestreak?
When Toyfair happened, websites didn't confirmed as they thought Hasbro was trying to sell them to retailers, and now we have product codes?

I like the idea of the micromaster pack. Seeing as some of them are like gold dust in the UK. 

 

That new Studio Series leader Megatron definitely has to be 07 Megs. It wouldn’t make sense if it wasn’t.

 

That figure would be too out of scale to fit in with Studio Series.
