What I came to say.

Both Siege and Kingdom look better than this anyway. Sad to see the mold being wasted on a version that's both expensive and inaccurately colored when someone should be doing a Delta Magnus/Powered Convoy.

Okay, so that and the TT exclusive G1 style colors version combo with the G1 san trailer Optimus. The G1 color version of this is also scarce?   Never realized that and great to know. Some things do have the unexpected Xfactor me want it at all cost then and Hb/TT kind of releases an instant hit without knowing it.

 

Of all the SS Megatrons, they chose the one that already had the best paint to begin with?

 

I'm just seriously amazed every single recolor or retool of this mold have been as G1 Ultra Magnus in a varying degree of dirt/mud or no mud, barring his extensive retool as a hybrid of G1 Optimus and Galaxy Convoy! You'd think between the two and a half toolings they'd abuse this mold since its a pretty solid and big Leader class mold that can double as an Optimus Prime in some shape or form. Example potential retool or redeco ideas:

• Retooling the armor into RiD2001 Magnus
  
• Delta Magnus/Diaclone Powered Convoy
• Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus, with the blue and red inner robot with a new skull face
• Nova Prime from Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime
• A Nemesis Prime version? Granted that could be the cab for Nova Prime too...

Seriously these molds still got untapped potential.

 

If you're willing to remove all the white paint on Netflix Magnus, you can get a reasonably easy base for Nemesis Magnus.

 

And white is MUCH more noticeable.

 

I'm still waiting for this one. Using the Kingdom mold is fine. And I want a Race Track Patrol repaint to come with him, Roller Force repainted as Powered Buggy and Ground Hog as Mini-Spy (with a rub sign).

 

I don't know if that goes as smoothly as you think it does. RiD Magnus wears his entire trailer as legs. It'd have to be an almost entirely new trailer.

This one will come once they do an actual G1 Magnus w/ G1 trailer. KD Magnus as Delta Magnus could happen but it'd be to fill out time and people who bought it would likely be disappointed in a year or so when the "real" thing came out.

 

Pretty sure Delta Magnus could happen from the Kingdom version of the mold.

 

I'm rather surprised at the sheer number of people who want a Delta Magnus repaint. Like, damn  

 

Grey inner Mags looks kinda cool admittedly.

I might as well repurpose it as "Nemesis Magnus".

Kind of. On the main body, the cab/torso, the thighs and half of the shins are casted in grey and the rest is casted in white. All of the white on the armor bits are grey casted.

This is really Takara’s biggest miss with Magnus. I hate how they based the premium finish WFC figures off the Netflix show, which was based on the toys, and not the G1 cartoon, which is what the toys were based on. We already have a Netflix accurate line! This thing is just redundant. It’ll probably cost commander class price, anyways. Edit: Just looked, it costs around $90 USD. Please, buy Kingdom Rodimus Prime instead.

 

Why? It means you get Delta Magnus AND Magna Convoy in one package. For some of us, the Ehobby Delta Magnus was "the one that got away" and others want an affordable Magna Convoy that doesn't cost $250+.
