Added a photo of the 'secret' package on the 1st post. Even though the packaging says City Commander Add-on Kit, the reviewer said it's for Protector.

i don't know, I'm just not really feeling it. It looks good, but I'm not as drawn to it as I was with City Commander or the Colossus figures. I'm thinking about dropping my pre-order and saving the money for MP Rodimus, which has really stolen all of my anticipation and excitement.

 

the only thing i don't like is the color of the flame for the chest. not a fan of the pastel yellow. i think i'll be painting it gold when it gets here. it would work for both classics and henkei because they both have gold/bronze in their color scheme. it's still ba'dass though.

so there is a second add on kit for it? the only other memerable thing that rodimus has is the "hate plague" and i don't know what they'd do for that, although the package looks like it's been infected and glowing red......

maybe it's a dr. pepper shirt, ha ha. i'm a pepper, wanna be a pepper too?

So, I'm assuming the Henkei version will be coming soon after. I'm also guessing they'll do another Shadow Scyther esque set to go with TFCC Sideburn (or another dark repaint of Rodimus). This version looks incredible. Well played FP.... well played.

 

If you order the Sidearm Targetmaster you get the chrome spoiler bits for Henkei, otherwise they're the same.

If it's not a matrix like item, another 3rd party company will make an add on kit for Protector to carry/hold the matrix.

 

I'm not entirely enthused about the head but I am still looking foward to this immensely.
