They're Very colorful. Particularly when combined into that multicolored...gun...thing. Taste the rainbow!

...Looks kinda cool, actually.

 

I have seen that upgrade set, and yes it is somewhat what I asked for but requires you to very haphazardly take the figure apart. I've made my own half assed faceplate for my prime but I would love a professionally done one that could fit in the current head.


Also, that set is FIFTY FUCKING DOLLARS, if you excuse my french, and not worth it. Its as much as the Japanese figure OR 2-3 US Versions. I realize it comes with a gun (made one almost just like it out of legos) but christ thats a bit of a rip off, and I'm a 3rd party whore.

 

The truck mode image puts it over the top for me. DAMMMMMMMN!

It's so weird how the faceplate doesn't reach the nose.

 

I swear this mold was meant to be a Nemesis Prime. I freaking want it.

 

Absurd that this is the only way to get that new head. BH Optimus was one of the only Prime molds not to get a redeco/remold. This would be easy money for Hasbro. I am drowning in a sea of nerd tears.

 

Nemesis/Scourge looks nice in those colors, really makes the mold look imposing and evil. If I collected Nemesis/Scourge black redeco's, I'd be all over this.

Those transclearant Arms Microns look so fruity and delicious, like candy.   Hope kids don't try to eat them.

Dragontron looks great in red. It's not accurate by any means, but still makes the mold pop.

From what little you see of him in the Go Cartoon he is mostly Dark red.

Like the Black Optimus - he's a must buy - I can see him have a nice jet pack duel with Ultra Magnus now in my head. And he can have fun poking fun at fishy Megatron too.

I hope they still make a black and white Express Prime too though.

I like the Microns the Mantis should suit Swerve or Jinbu or the yellow spikes on the Shinobi leader.

The green Cannons should make ideal SkyQuake wing guns

The rumble guns should make a neat alternative weapon colour for Rumble or Frenzy - or in general terms they just make good jet boosters too.

The red shark sword should complement the new Black Optimus well. or make a nice weapon for the fat purple shark fella.

The blue elephant again makes a good jet booster or vehicle weapon but also should complement Dark Energon Wheeljack quite well too.

The teams they show them with might have potential too - I'd try to get two sets though if I can.

 

Despite my dislike for BH Prime, that looks bad ass as Nemesis Prime. Wouldn't pay that price for him, but he's going on the list of Nemesis Prime to get.

Retailers are selling these for $90? The Japanese SRP is 5250 JPY, so it should be sold at around 50 to 60...
