    Never cared for Armada (really the only Japanese series we got stateside that I liked was RiD), and Hot Shot looks...bleh.

    Ratchet is pretty alright, dig the license plate.

    Wow, they both look fantastic. Hot Shot is one of my favorite bad figures, but this one makes him badASS. :) 

    Well, looks like a bunch of kibble, but I'm cool with that.

    Ratchet is so a must buy, if not for anything else, the nod to the comic on his license plate is comedy gold.

    Sounds like somebody forgot the horrors of the dark Armada ages. I know. I've blocked that time period from my memory too. But yeah, it's an improvement. ;)

    Both are sweet looking.

    Definetly getting Hasbro Ratchet over the overpriced Henkei version. IMO: this one looks better, Henkei's look like KOs

    The original Hot Shot sucked, and I threw it away gladly. Just by pictures, this thing is a better figure.

    Yup. I'd rather have smaller hand-guns, if you will. I wish these figures came with more appropriate weapons for the character. And I despise the whole openhanded thing that these TF toys are getting nowadays. Closed fist with a hole in the middle. That's all you need. And it looks better too.

    nice, but what's with the fender thing on the back, that thing should be solid all the way through; not half half on each side!

    bleh.

    small price to pay for such an awesome mold though.

    Maybe so Jolt can fit there but still... at least have it there but can clip on and off even....?

    Holy photoshop on the on the Hot Shot pictures. I know they always overkill the PS, but that's just nuts (all the glossy white features).

    Hot Shot is SUPPOSED to have massive shoulder kibble. Hot Shot without shoulder kibble is like....

    Grimlock without a speech problem
    Sideswipe without his arm wings
    Megatron without a huge canon on his arm
    Bumblebee in any color but yellow
    Cliffjumper NOT being a remold of BB... in red
    Starscream without seekers
    Prime with an airplane alt-mode
    Soundwave as an airplane

    Ya see where I am going with this? It's just not natural!!!

    First thing I saw on Ratchet was the license plate and it made him go from a "probably not" to a "I need it for the license plate!" Hotshot, I have a feeling he may be more posable than these pics are letting on, so I'm waiting to make a judgement on him.

    ratchet looks great. Hot shot I'm not too sure. I think I like cybertron Hot shot better.

    I don't think I've seen this mentioned(I'm sure it has been already)- but Ratchet's license place says "help us". Either this has to do with his being an ambulance OR that lovely Marvel's TF #70

    EDIT: Oh- it WAS mentioned before : )
