I want it, but at the same time I HATE this super kibble and simplistic mold. Why couldn't they do that with the new voyager mold? It would have been a supreme must buy.

 

Doubt it, there's no room for any and nothing's been mentioned.

 

My custom Unite for the universe Prime back-story
Here's my explination for corpse armour prime:

Defender Optimus prime was winning the battle against Mindwipe, but then Mindwipe bought back the body of Jetfire back to life and hypnotised him, he pits Jetfire against Defender Prime. Jetfire is losing so he tries to transform. Prime brings out his hooks, screaming "I've tried the face, so give me your LEGS" and rips the off. Jetfire dies. Mindwipe comes back with a new army, prime slaps the legs onto his Back and screams, "Give me your Face!" he rips through the army, most of whom are Autobots, without a second thought, he rips apart Mindwipe into peices even though he baegs for mercy. He screams "Come get me, face me, I AM BERSERKER PRIME, i show no mercy to autobot and decepticon alike. I need more faces for my collection!"

 

Looks pretty good, and I was interested in this...until I saw the the NEW voyager Prime.

That old Voyager mold just doesnt cut it anymore.

 

Let this be a lesson to me, always look at the big pics. I only looked at the thumbnails of truck mode and single sbot mode before, so I didn't see the rather lovely buster prime style redeco he's sporting.

That makes him a lot more palatable, I will have my original robovision prime in jet prime mode, battle blades in bot mode and this in truck mode. Problem solved.  

 

This looks really really great. I love the voyager mold and the Jetfire add ons are great. Must buy for me!

 

I'm glad I never bought voyager prime. I'm so buying this.

 

Leader Jet Prime still looks better because that was just a much better Prime mold. This voyager mold has a huge problem: the robot mode bears little resemblance to movie Prime.

 

I always wanted the original voyager Prime mold, but I hadn't liked any of the paint jobs it'd gotten.
Really glad I held off on buying that figure and totally looking forward to owning this set.
It looks REALLY good!

I sure hope this makes it to the states. Every time I see it, I want it more and more.

 

I don't own a single Voyager Prime. I'm will be getting this, but I wodner if it will have a US release. Too big to be sold as a voyager, and it would be wrong to sell as a Leader class figure.

 

So the armor bits obviously dont have a robot mode... but can you snap them together to make an SR-71 Blackbird?

I think the robot mode with the armor looks great... but if there's no SR-71 mode...no thanks.

 

There's no vehicle mode. It can be fixed on the back of the truck as seen in the pictures though, but it looks weird and pointless.
