Reflector is expected to have hollow legs, because of how he transforms for camera mode - the arms tuck inside the legs.

That's where the arms fold into bud... Limbs have to be tucked in somewhere...

    Recommendations?

It makes the choice of Aimless, if that's who it is, as the Battlemaster in the Sideswipe pack more odd. Stick Caliburst in instead, in the correct toy colours.

Of course we don't yet know if Skywarp has friends in his box so .....

Well it's called a battle pack so unless Skywarp is the Tyler Durden of Transformers.... Well that's all I can sat about that.

I’ve preordered three from HLJ. Hopefully I can actuallly find three in person and can cancel my preorder, but the fact that every collector ever will be aiming for three means I want backup.

Not *EVERY* collector! While I wouldn't mind having this character in my collection, I never had any version of Reflector, didn't even bother mailing away for the original. I am definitely not paying more than leader class price for him. Siege is the ultimate RIP-OFF. I just can't pull the trigger on most of it. I just picked up Starscream, definitely not worth more than $14.99. But since Hasbro is making us pay double for the figures now, I left Soundwave on the shelf. If these were priced what they're actually worth I would have picked up both Starscream & Soundwave. They're losing tons of money on me. I don't know if the price hikes & tiny figures is worth it in the end. While I collected everything from the Prime Wars Trilogy they're losing thousands from me on this new line. Speak with your wallet right?

I do find that Siege has a bit more variation in quality than I’m comfortable with.

Sideswipe and Optimus are some of the best mainline toys in years, but I’m disappointed in Megatron. I don’t like the looks of much of wave 2, but I’m afraid that I’ll miss out on something that may be much better in-hand than in online reviews. So I’m likely doomed to pick up Soundwave with 50/50 odds of being more disappointed with the alt mode than I am enamored with the bot mode.

And then everyone would have complained about $25-$30 deluxes saying that they aren’t worth the cost

It would be off base, hasbro has been selling bundle packs at retail cost for the individual figures added up with a $5-$10 markup since combiner wars, they haven’t been selling bundle packs at a loss

I feel your pain, its especially painful for me because I personally display all of my figures with their backs facing forward

I'll let you in on a little secret... I know how Hasbro prices their box sets. You even quoted me saying so. ;)

Why is it assumed that you do? Why can't it just be an accessory left off to the side?

I will just throw them into a zipper bag and store them in the box where I always store my leftover accessorys and instructions if I no longer have the original box at my disposal.

Sometimes I like to imagine things that are different from the way things actually are. It's weird, I know. I probably need medication.

Just don’t view the camera from behind... which defeats the point of a camera actually.
