    In seriousness, I don't collect MP's as they are too expensive.
    But Takara has to cut down on their Black Repaint Fetish.

    Yeah, it's another black repaint, but it's sure not a lazy or boring black repaint. That color scheme is bananas. I like the teal and purple combo, it feels very "late 80's Decepticon." I'm still sold on this guy.

    I'm feel so silly saying this but the purple, teal and black look so divine together. Much better than the usual lazy black repaints that come out of Takara.

    The first thing that comes to mind every time I see this is... Darkwing. He even has the 'Con faction symbol.

    I, for one, welcome any and all black MP repaints. Waiting on the Grimlock and Starscream black repaints still.... grr... come on Takara! I know there has to be SOME kind of reason to do them.

    Sorry to say (as I am a completist), this is the first MP mold I am passing on (and I even bought all seven versions of MP-01 and three versions of MP Grimlock). I can handle black repaints with Prime because I can always pass it off as Nemesis Prime/Scourge. This one is a repaint just for the sake of doing a repaint, not even close to an existing or previous character.

    This just sticks out like a sore thumb to me, and with Christmas coming up it's an easy pass.

    What's another $200 going to hurt? You have well beyond $1500 invested in 10 figures.
