Well, the leader Prime is gonna be out of scale with the deluxe autobots. Just guessing based on the typical size of a leader class robot. So he should be a larger scale, thus closer to 1/24. If he is, I'd venture to say that Hasbro did it on purpose cause they knew we wanted a big rig Prime to lead our alts.

unfortunately the alt mode doesn't look like it's totally in scale: the side doors, for example are much wider than thye are on the real truck, and so only a small part of the windows form what is in fact the entire door in the bot mode. Still a cool alt mode though. I wasn't too sure about the bot mode at first, having been used to the sleeker, slimmer CGI model, but he's growing on me. Though I like all the alt modes so much I'd love to get movie accurate non-transforming scale models af them all. That'd make a wicked display.

Yeah that would be neat. Then have some super-poseable robot mode figure like the revoltechs.

I was convinced to buy Leader PRIME ages ago. Any new pictures merely make the saliva glands work a little more each time.

    I only have three questions.

    1:do the legs bend properly?

    2:are the tires rubber?

    3:can I have it?

I still hate the legs. I'll pass.

For the people complaining about Optimus not looking 'Sleek' enough, though...Awooo? When has Optimus EVER looked sleek? G1 Optimus was a box with arms and legs for crying out loud.

But yet you keep coming in these threads to complain. *sighs*

It looks pretty decent, so I think I may snag me one of these. However it begs teh question if there will be the inevitable Magnus or Nemesis repaint...

i beg to differ cybertron prime was pretty sleek compared to energon, and the 20th aniversary is amazing compared to this. The voyager prime is more acurate to the movie counter part

Not mad about this product prime looks too fat, it does not help that there is loads of kibble on the legs and he has a small lower body (hip joint), it doesnt look like it would support his fat torso. Plus it would have been nice to have a removeable face plate like cybertron/galaxy force prime. Overall not bad, i can see it as a display model then anything else, if you can get this in a cool pose with those legs bent it look great otherwise, i'd buy voyager prime

My thoughts exactly, but overall I really like this Prime. I also think the smaller (Voyager?) version looked better, but it cheated (more) on the transformation ... so I guess Hasbro's evil plan is working 'cause I'm planning on buying both. :p

Compared to previous Primes, the robot mode on this one isn't as good. IMHO, this one looks better than all Armada and Energon versions, but definetely Cybertron and Classics' OP bot modes do look better than the movie one. However, Cybertron's alt mode is really - REALLY - worse than movie Prime's alt mode, so in the end both have its pros and cons.

Now we need pics of Movie Leader OP battling G1 Prime! :D

Because 20th Anniversary OP's smokestacks were chromed. The problem with the 'long stacks' is not only the length, but also the material.

Looks awesome. I'm wondering how sturdy and articulated the legs are as well though...I'll buy it either way, but I agree with those who have said it looks a little cluttered. I'm more looking forward to Megs.
