MP-13: Meh

Breakdown: GIVE IT TO ME!

 

Was leaning toward shockwave as mp13, but after staring at the pic a bit longer, I also believe its soundwave. The legs have that soundwave like blockiness, while shockwaves legs are curvier.

 

I would not be surprised. He would be the easiest to push out right after Sideswipe.

Yeah, it's like those damn ink splotches. Everyone sees something different and then then people get mad when you don't see what they see lol

I think the same number with an S and all that junk is for repaints of the same character. Like if they took Sideswipe and did G2 sideswipe, Deep Cover or Tiger Tracks then yes it would be MP12D and MP12T or an exclusive like Sunstorm since it's an amazon exclusive.

But if you take Sideswipe and make Red Alert then he is a totally different character and would there for get his own number. MP13 if that is him. Like I said it looks like it could be Red or Soundwave.

 

Y'know, I'm actually looking forward to smaller MP's. That means they'll be somewhat cheaper, and the fact MP-12 might fit in with Alts. sounds great.

Which means I suddenly have a strong desire for MP-14 to be either Mirage or Wheeljack.

Essentially, an upscaled Music Label Soundwave that can store tapes is probably what everybody wants, along with a visor color change gimmick so he can be both cartoon AND toy accurate. And maybe some accessory that makes him look like he's generating empty Energon cube frames.

 

Its soundwave mudafucka!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Mp13 is so obviously a repaint of mp12 ...so i can only assume Sunstreaker, but to be honest I can't wait. I would hate to have one w/o the other. I just hope they come out west.

 

I will be nice this time around. Sunstreaker never transformed the same way as Sideswipe. The reasonable repaints would be Red Alert.

Not to mention, you get a shit load of fanboys excited about the chances of MP Soundwave only to face the wrath of the same fanboys when it is not what they thought it was.

I have no clue why people are expecting the price to go down because the size of the MPs are decreasing. Is this a fantasy.

The current trend is for the size to decrease and for the price to increase.

 

I'd almost laugh if Takara had the stones to price MP12 the same as MP11.

But for its size, it's pretty much inevitable it's going to be more expensive relative to MP11.

 

Look at chest profile - this is NOT a repaint of MP12. The MP12 profile doesn't look like an inverted triangle.

This could be soundwave because the base of his chest IS beveled to give him a slightly inverted traingle look, but it also looks like the chest box isn't square enough either.

Legs are pretty chunky or I'd be thinking Astrotrain.

Yeah, I remember when Sideswipe was announced as the next one and people were pissed it wasn't Soundwave or Shockwave... Seriously... Fanboys of most bots get a lot... But the first DECENT Sunstreaker I ever got was classics! Cause come on, we all know G1 Sunstreaker looks like a banana monkey bot! Let the damn lambo fan girl have some bots too damn it!

Yep! Price goes up or stay the same and you get less! The times we live in!

Red Alert most likely or a G2 Sideswipe. But no Sunstreaker from Sideswipe.

 

I just don't think I can swing $100 for a Voyager.

 

Yeah, if that scale is accurate then he is nearly a head smaller then Alt Sideswipe.

The price point better go down for that.

 

With how many fans are buying 3rd-party combiners etc, that's almost the new standard.

 

So the new standard is that 3rd Party companies and Takara charge the same price?

 

If takara prices this for more than 60-70 bucks, I am going to have to pass and wait for a us release. If it doesn't happen, o well. I know most fans will probably gladly throw there money at takara if they charge 100-130, but I have to draw a line and say f-u takara. If a binaltech figure with diecast is cheaper than MP12, than there just gauging fans wallets at this point.
