I think it's Soundwave. Takara has already publicly said they were looking into possibly doing it and 'inside' sources, if you choose to believe them, have said a Soundwave was in the works. And if TT wants to put a major damper on the 3rd Party MP Soundwave, they gotta let it be known an official one is on the way.

And if you like conspiracy theories, this could be the problem 3rd Party guys said they were currently dealing with.

I agree. I absolutely hate when they "tease" with silhouettes or blurred out pics, it's so annoying 

But I gotta agree that the pic looks like Soundwave looking over his shoulder by the way his arms are bent.

 

If it was a repaint of MP-12 wouldn't it be MP-12X. Just like Sunstorm is MP-11S

I'd try to argue that it wouldn't, since MP-02 (Ultra Magnus) is just a repainted MP-01, and I'm pretty sure the original MP releases of Skywarp and Thundercracker had their own individual release numbers, but your mention of Sunstorm being MP-11s just made me realize I don't even know what is going on with the numbering system anymore .

 

MP-13 looks like Soundwave to me.

Knockout finaly has a photo that doesn't look like ass.

Voyager Starscream is redundant.

MP-12 is midget sized.

The Vehicon Gun is pretty damn nice... The bot mode is a bit funky tho.

Breakdown looks awesome... is he a Voyager tho? I'd hope so... would be crap if Bulkhead's rival was Ratchet sized. (ON that note, Has/Tak, Voyager Ratchet PLZ KTHX.)

Knockout looks pretty nice though... given the better paint apps that is.

 

It is obvious TT is taking a different direction with the MP line starting with MP-08. Notice the reduction in size and now the numbering with Sunstorm. So you can rule out MP-13 repaint of MP-12. 

 

Magnus, Skywarp, and Thundercracker had their own numbers.

Comic Grimlock, black Prime (both of them), last edition Prime, Ghost Starscream, and Black Rodimus are all the same number as their original.

There's... not a lot of rhyme or reason to it. Same character, same mold redecos are the same number, but Black Rodimus and Sunstorm are both separate characters so... yeah.

Wait, a thought occurred to me. Are the same number redecos all exclusives?

 

MP Sideswipe is awesome... I love the size too.

 

Ok, let's assume for a minute that MP-13 is Soundwave. Apart from a better-articulated version of the G1 toy, what gimmicks would/should/could they include? They'd do tape(s), but I'd assume only Ravage, either Laserbeak or Buzzsaw, either Frenzy or Rumble, and maybe, MAYBE Ratbat. (The other bird and guy tapes would be TRU/Japan/Comic-Con exclusives. ) oLd really like them to follow the Music Label route and put an MP3 player in there, or even just have a compartment/dock for an iPod nano or shuffle. Discuss.

 

Could you imagine if they did a whole MP Cassette line. Like the Reissues.
