That Smokescreen is so hot right now.

 

LOVE how they did Smokescreen's shoulders differently from Prowl and Streak. It's one of the things that I loved about Sideswipe and Alert as well.

 

Even a black repaint can't save those Transformers GO figures. They're terrible.

 

All the tiny remolds on these figures like the different crotch plates, shoulders and slightly different head on Streak are awesome to me. Love that they went the extra mile to make the small changes for each character. Makes it much easier justifying buying all 3.

 

Let me preface this: These are awesome...now for the nit pick

I'm very glad they did what they did with smokescreens shoulders to put the wheels on top. I will say though it doesn't look as good as I'd like. The shoulder hinge thing...looks very classics level quality.

The shoulders don't rise to the level of the impossibly high bar they set with everything else. It only rises to "quite good".

 

don't know why they didn't black the windows out on bluestreak?

 

I want to try to get at least Smokescreen or Bluestreak. If they get KO'd I might get both. They're both so pretty.

 

Smokescreen's colours are so exciting and inviting, really the only one that interests me.

 

Why not get the TT versions? The KO will most Likley be about $40. I got my prowl for $46. IMHO, it's not worth the $12 I'll save... I'd rather put my money toward a company that I like and would like them to keep producing more figures.

 

Smokescreen looks good in car mode but transformed in robot mode those colors looks realy bad.

He looks like a kids toy of one of my 6 year old nephew.

 

If I were to get both, by the time I decided to get the second one they'd probably be sold out everywhere selling them for much under $70, and I don't have that kind of money to spend on toys right now.

 

Personally, if I'm forking out for a second piece, I'll rather keep that second one MISB and just transform the displayed piece back and forth.

 

It's weird how Smokey is polarising fans views, IMHO he looks the best of the three.

same with the shoulder cannon plastic - it was silver, now black like the hands.

A real downgrade, so hoping that it's not reflective of a change in the actual production figure.

 

as for Smokescreen, he's certainly G1 accurate

but I still prefer this Smokescreen

Masterpiece Blue Bluestreak...I'm waiting.

 

I, too, don't have the funds to fork over $175 right now on all the Datsuns, (ps4, Xmas fast approaching), so if I break down and get Bluestreak, he'll probably be at aftermarket prices, and that's where I'd rather support pirates than fandom. Either way, Takara isn't getting my money from said purchase. I hope the pirates decide to make other mp's such as Grimlock, too. Irks me when I see people complain about scalpers here, then that SAME person sells his Hasbro Grimlock for $350. I don't mind people making money, I'm sickened by the hypocrisy. If a KO group can get me MP08 for $150 to $180, I'll welcome him with a throaty, "Aaaarrrrr, ahoy there, matey!"

Some people have budgets. I have a similar rule, that's why when I bought the cassettes, I sold buzzsaw and RedFrumble for the cost of what I paid.
