man Jolt... I just cant see what their is to like about him... its not that he's a bad toy but he just does not jump out as anything special to me
Jolt = Arcee = I'm sorry, these are just bad. Thankfully I still have movie 1 Arcee, but if Jolt is in the movie I'm gonna want a version of him for my shelf.*sigh* Hopefully there'll be a Legends version of him.
I agree. Jolt is quite a mess compared to others like Sideways and the Hillbilly twins IMO.. =S Arcee wouldn't have looked so bad had the designers not made the body bend in so many ways @@
I feel the same way. He's not bad... he's just... meh. I'm used to the movie designs having very unique and interesting design elements. Jolt is just, well, blue.
I read Jolt was wave 4 and Arcee wave 5. Can't remember where. I think in the most recent Jolt pic thread. Nice to see him posed a little! Can't wait for him.
Love Arcee. Thank god for the size, alt mode, color, spine, and Thrust 'legs.' This is all win for me.
Jolt looks cool, I can tell from the pic on the far left those window knees don't restrict his knee articulation. And it looks like he has thumb joint. Possibly the blue wheel plays a role in his mech alive gimmick or its how you bring the electro whips out. The headsculpt and chest sculpt jump out. It's really incredible how the movie line is subtlely getting these very japanese mecha designs that we haven't seen in western robot toys lately. Jolt extrapolation: -Chest is angularly inverted with venting panels. Autobot symbol is at the center. -Headsculpt not only has a faceplate but uses the grand Star shaped horns. The vehicle mode is serviceable. Gotta like blue. As for arcee I'm glad the spine is collapseable and posable. The armor panels and smaller bladed weapon (compared to chromias BFG) help arcee look slick. The headsculpts for the motorcycles are again looking like pop culture eastern mechs.
I really wish they'd done the moto-sisters as Basics so that they were in at least relative scale to the Deluxe and Voyager Cars/trucks
Yep, especially as they're allegedly have very little screen time. I think Wheelie would have been better as a scout class toy too.
I kinda like the blue when he's in alt. mode, but the robot mode is still a question, i will wait until i see him in stores, only bad thing i can say about him is the heavy paneling on a deluxe figure
