Hi guys. I work at Toys R Us and I've been looking at our shipment manifest looking for the Masterpiece Grimlock. Luckily there are some in the shipment but I found another listing for an Optimus Primal. It's listed as TRA OPTIMUS PRIMAL. There's 2 pieces to a case and I'm wondering exactly what it is. I've looked on the company website and can find nothing at all. Any ideas?

 

That'd likely be this guy, an Optimus Prime figure for Rescue Bots that transforms into a dinosaur.

Same here, though I should have known better having passed on the T-Rex Primal yesterday.

Very true, but OP was looking at a listing not the actual figure, so he couldn't tell what animal it turned into.

 

Same could probably be said for the AOE Deluxe Scorn

 

Damn it. I'm still holding onto the hope we might get news of one or two more Beast Wars-inspired Generations toys at BotCon...

 

Me, too! I want more Season 1 Beast Wars Generations toys!!!

 

All we need is Primal, Airazor and Tigatron to complete the Maximal cast for season 1. Then they can start focusing on season 2, although that's gonna be hard to accomplish, since the S2 toys from BW were pretty spot-on.

Hardly any Predacon love though. We need a new Terrorsaur, Scorponok, Tarantulus, Blackarachnia, Inferno and Megatron for the season 1 cast.

 

I personally want the entire season 1 cast redone in the same quality as the recent Rhinox/ Rattrap/ Waspinator figures.

 

Just curious, what would you want from a new figure that the original didn't do?

 

Shittier plastic, hollow limbs and fewer paint apps!
