They almost all had waist swivels. Though they are in desperate need of ankle articulation.

Ah ok. I only have titans return hardhead which for sure doesn’t have a waist swivel or ankle tilt so I assumed that was the case for other ones.

Also, another thing that could be improved is getting rid of ball joints. Barely any wfc figure has balljointed shoulders/legs. Titans return figures seem to use ball joints religiously. Pinned joints instead of ball joints would help with the aesthetic.

You can find 90% of POTP stuff without any difficulty. I don’t think anyone really bothered with the line at all

Personally, I dont like the legs and I wish the alt mode was more square like the original. If they just changed those things I'd like the mold.

It has hollow legs and the thigh articulation sucks they couldve cut a portion of the upper thigh section and given him some decent articulation

Potp is a very forgettable line the only good things that came from it were abominus the legends figures and mediocre stuff like an almost voyager hot rod that shattered glass hotrod and the fembots

???. I get your general point, but... the only ones out of the TR remakes of the original seven that don't have waist articulation, are Highbrow and Hardhead.

POTP Inferno and Grimlock are bundled for 10 bucks but no one is picking them up, everything except Abominus and legends you've listed are still rotting in shelves. Hopefully this rerelease of P/CP would fare better with the market.

The panels on his legs that fold up into his windshield are a lot more fragile than I’d like them to be. I’m already seeing stress marks after the amount of pressure I had to exert to push them down into place. If they were made of a durable solid-colored plastic that had painted windows, I’d be a lot happier with them.

If they'd given them their Sunbow heads I'd go for them. Now they are a maybe since I already have the legends versions... Let's wait and see...

Any word on fixing the QC problems I heard about with some figures (Skullcrucher and Weirdwolf come to mind)?

This line has so much potential. There are a lot of figures that could do with just a simple re-release as they were hard to come by. Then there are figures which could do well by simply being released to the West with their Takara head molds and paint jobs. And then there are brand new deco opportunities for existing molds such as Nightbeat and Siren and/or their Japanese equivalents.

Heck there are probably new character opportunities I haven't considered. There was a time when I would have sacrificed a body part to get Spinister out of the Highbrow mold! It was me who commissioned Steamshield for the Spinister face. And I have a spare Weirdwolf that I've been pondering a Carnivac custom out of.
