Hasbro MPM has the wrong scale size here, here\'s the size order for them Optimus Prime(Heights: 29cm / 11.42\" Movie Scale 28ft) Ironhide(Height: 24cm/ 9.45\" 22ft)  Ratchet(10.51 Inches 20ft) Bumblebee(6.5\" 16ft) and Jazz(6 inches (15.25cm) 15ft) 2 Wei Jiang MPM figures and 3 Hasbro MPM figures will be correct scale size figures

Don't think we only care about 3rd party, we care about what looks best to us. I'm happy you find the mpm looks good enough for your collection, some of us (myself included) do strive to improve it. I have all the official mpm figures, doesn't mean I'd not want it to look more sensible in terms of how they look together.

Discussing how our views are isn't really complaining (ok, some of us do :p ), but tbh saying "third party sucks" is in itself complaining, no?

The price at Amazon JP dropped, but is still higher than Target’s. Is it worth getting JP version?

With the 30% discount Ratchet is the same price as Starscream with his 30% discount. I’m still not sure why Ratchet is so expensive. He should be cheaper than Starscream. I’m in Canada so I may wait for the inevitable Toys R Us clearance sale. Ratchet has already been on sale there once and he’s not even close to released yet. Amazon Japan also tends to put MPM figures on clearance after release.

I have LS09 now, the OS MPM06 (Ironhide), and I must say this is pretty damn perfect; MPM11 Ratchet will fit right in.

Pardon the transformation of Ironhides chest. Just got the figure and displayed it as is until I get around to messing with it proper.

EDIT: Another comparison using LS03 as a scale reference.

Clearly you've never touched a third party figure.

Regardless, get over it. The forum is here for people to express their views, opposing or similar. Telling people to shut up because it doesn't suit your narrative isn't conducive as to the entire purpose of the forum.

I like how the fans care about scale more than the animators.

I guess what you’re saying is that SS has better scale than MPM. Hahahaha nope.

Just look at SS Optimus and him next to SS Ironhide. It’s the same problem with MPM-4 and 6 but far worse.

But in general, studio series are more "scale accurate" than the mpm line.

    Said very well.

I assume @ReadyParzivalOne 's post was directed at me. Honestly, I was not preaching or telling anyone they are wrong, just illustrating my logic in the hope it may help someone else make a decision on their own logic to follow.

I collect SS. No offense but I have no idea where you came to that conclusion. Which part of the MPM line isn't as accurate as SS?

We both have our own strengths and flaws. But just as an example the 07 cast looks better in MPM than SS in my opinion.

I couldn't even find starscream on target.com, can you help explain the 30% discount you're talking about?

Amazon Japan I think. You can buy it off AJ and ship it to the US and it'll sometimes still be cheaper than just buying it in the US. I also think they have a 30% discount on a lot of Masterpiece figures (or just Transformers in general, I can't remember for sure)

Amazon Japan. We don’t have Target in Canada so I don’t know anything about their preorders.

Just got an email from Target claiming they couldn't process payment for my Ratchet order (gee maybe my bank finally pushed back against the constant state of pre auth charges Target seems to like to do with their preorders?). Glad I caught it in time, switched to a different card, but ha wish I had done PayPal for this one since by the time this released I'll probably have the same thing happen again. And there's no option to switch from a card to PayPal...
