I mean......noooooooooo one thought, "wow, those two pieces atop look really out of place, do you think we transformed him correctly?"

 

Even if the backpack makes him look like a cicada, i really dont mind it. Everyone wants an oversized version of the DOTM deluxe, and i agree but this one isn\'t THAT bad. 

 

Meh. Beloved characters like Ratchet have a unique appearance. You can't just slap his name on any piece of plastic. No wonder they took so long to release this figure.

I don't know why everyone is hating on this. I think he looks great. The only part that bothers me is the pieces of the roof rack hanging out behind his head. Otherwise, damn near perfect.

And damn, that backside of the truck mode...yisss.

 

I just saw that preorders went up for this one but I can't find them for Starscream. Did I miss the window?

 

I think it looks petty great, aside from the head being too small. I'm really excited for this one! The roof rack thing is just the terrible promo pics.

 

All these pics later and he still looks like his shoulders are melting off...

 

He looks pretty okay. I'm going to wait for the eventual KO of him and see if those make any improvements before I buy him.

 

I know I'm going to get some hate for saying this and I know it is a difference between transformable and non-transformable but I think this official MP looks very poor compared to the Iron Warrior Ratchet which is much more screen accurate. I'm gonna pass and keep my Iron Warrior. I display in bot mode and I don't fidget with my figures much so I really don't care about transformation. If I want something that I can fidget with and switch back and forth, I get something much more simple and fun.

 

If you only want robot mode accuracy, then Iron Warrior is the one for you. There's no way Hasbro can make something that looks identical to the CGI model which can also transform. It's too much for them although some 3P companies may be able to do it.

 

Those buzzsaw blades should be sharper.

 

I dont think it's that you'll get much hate for that statement, but rather you might just cancel your own comment out by comparing apples and oranges on a insanely magnified scale.

One is a transforming toy, one isn't.

They couldn't be representatives from polar opposite ends of the spectrum if they tried.

They are both movie Ratchet. One looks like the movie, the other doesn't.
