The more I see of this figure the more intrigued I am. I wasn't planning to purchase this, but the closer we get to release day the more interested I get.

eh, the robot is well executed for what it is (and I think movie Starscream is far and away one of the worst of the worst movie designs.) but the sculpting on display here is exquisite.

The Jet mode looks pretty great from the top. The faded edges of the camo and all the pale lines are really, really nice.

But I don't know who they are trying to fool with the undercarriage... if you can already see random robot-bits sticking out past the edges of the alt mode from the top, I can only imagine what a disaster the underside is. looks like it could actually be messier then the Leader version from years back...

I'd hope so, MPM-1 was a $40 leader with a fancy paint job. how many $100s is this guy?

The new pics FINALLY confirm the actual colors of this figure. Thank Primus it's not that weird blue color from the first reveal! The rest of the figure still looks great, although I won't be displaying mine with the back wings super far up like that.

Now PLEASE SHOW US RATCHET! :D
Only $150 at Target. It's an awesome deal compared to the G1 and BW MPs.

Looks nice, but I think a lot of people are kind of sick of them doing (what seems) like the same characters over and over again.

Just figured it would be a mass produced product. I wonder if Amazon will have it

Honestly MPM has been pretty good about that. Gave the first two releases proper MP treatments but other than that, been new characters only, and even in the Bumblebee department, there are only two, which are vastly different and arguably different characters (depending on if you see BB as a reboot or prequel).

oh, that's not bad, with how stratospheric most MPs have gotten I'd have guessed $250

Looking at that underside I have absolutely no idea how this transforms. The collar bits end up at the back of the jet either side of his hips, and I can't even see where the thrusters from the back of the bot mode end up.

Also in bot mode I'm guessing the wings can be adjusted up and down? Some shots have them angled up (too) high above the head and in others they're lower and angled outwards (for maximum dorito) which I prefer.

Fighter sculpt is decent from the top, robot mode is where this thing shines. Deco is disappointing though.

Great pics of the desert-camo version, so when do we get a grey one?

Every picture I see of this figure, I get even more excited. The painting, the sculpt, both modes look great, those accessories are great, I love it!
I've always had a love/hate relationship with this design. It looks so weird and stupid but it's silhouette is so recognizable. Show me a silhouette of a G1 Starscream, I'll run through a dozen different Seekers. Show me this dorito boy, instant recognition. It's kind of iconic, in a way.
On another note, are the Target preorders up yet? Anywhere?

The colors look better in these pics than in the reveals, but still much more tan than he should be.

Starscream is the one movie design I cannot accept. I absolutely hate it. Devastator is #2.

Different strokes for different folks! I LOVE ROTF Devastator. Starscream is probably in my top 5, but I prefer ROTF Megatron, Shockwave, and Barricade more.

Hm... to pre-order the Japanese version or wait and see if it gets released in Singapore first.
