"Our studio sources." That's frustratingly vague, as is the premise. A 1990's heist movie from Brooklyn to South America?

I'm pressing X hard my guys.

Forgive me if I think this sounds incredibly fake. Last I checked, the Beast Wars movie was understandably put on the backburner in favor of Bumblebee 2.

Finally the beasts have stopped warring and started working together. Good for them.

I'm pretty sure we already got confirmation that the film is named "The Transformers", so I don't think this is true.

Man, I do not enjoy Transformers without humans. Robots hiding on Earth as our stuff or GTFO.

Which isn't to say I don't wish the movies had put more focus on the TFs as characters, but I have no use for stories that are Transformers minus any humans at all.

I mean, time alone will tell if this will be the case, but if it's true, I have no problem with a Beast Wars-inspired film being set in the 1990s. There's almost no way studio execs would have a live action Transformers film set in the distant past with no modern human characters.

If true, I think a 1990s heist film that traverses the globe could be fun. In fact, I think it could be Shrektastic. Maybe we'll even get a Smashmouth song or two!

If false, then it's whatever. It wouldn't be the first false rumor, like that Transformers 4 script with Unicron and Circuit Breaker.

This feels like the 7th time someone has said posted a thread saying "Look! New info on the next movie!"

And then a single read through with zero sources besides "trust me bro" and old information like how the Beast Wars movie has been put on indefinite hold makes you wonder if they actually read it.

It's probably not the 7th time, I think I'm mixing some memories of the Star Wars thread and their inability to check before posting, but it definitely feels like it. At the very least this article said "our sources" instead of something like "our info is from the Youtuber Doomcock".

A weird source? Unbelievable title? Contradiction to previous reports? Yeah, I feel there isn't even a point discussing about this.

I don't think this has a lot of credibility.
