So sad about TRU. I know in hind sight it was coming, but still sad to see the day they go out like Blockbuster Video. I finally got 1 of my grails, KFC Simba. I had to wait on this guy because money was tight when it came out. Then I couldn't find it anywhere. Finally it popped on ebay. He is amazing! I'm holding out for the KP-17 joints for Star Saber before I combine the 2 so the joints don't give out. Has anyone seen wave 2 deluxes at retail lately? I still need the dinos and Moonracer.

I never make it out that far. I live on the east side of ABQ. I'll just keep checking Target and Walmart. They're bound to come out eventually! I should have waited to buy the case, but I saw Rippersnapper and Blackwing in person and took the bait. I have such a draw to Victory after watching TFcog's dub. I held out waiting for an official Victory Leo, but nothing. But this figure was done with a lot of love and care. It's just amazing and fits so well with the look of Star Saber. I thought I heard Maketoys was making a Liokaiser? Just reports of the TFC one having stability issues is making me wait. Still want thier Road Caesar and Fansproject's Dinoking.
Went by TRU today, saw nothing really new, but if someone sees primus from like 50-60 during liquidations, I would like one, I just don't want to pay the full price for the redeco of a figure I could find in an older version for much less.
Same I've been eyeing him since he was released. As soon as he dips below $100 I'm grabbing him. There are 7 up here so hopefully he sit's long enough to hit 30% off.

Got some new toys yesterday. If TRU is done, I’ll just keep ordering online. Unfortunately TRU really put themselves in this position. But there’s still a sliver of hope. Guess we’ll see.
Ultimately having less options is worse for the consumer so it sucks that TRU is going out of business, but that's not surprising. Most big businesses that only cater to a niche don't do well. KFC Simba is pretty sweet, but the QC issues of the first release ruined it for me. I just got Ares Nitrogen and Peru Kill. Just incredible, well worth the cost.
Yep, I want the TLK Cybertron/primus TRU has.. if one of you spot him for under like $80, I would love to pick one up/trade for it. but I can probably find one of the older decos for under $80, so i'm not gonna be a buzzard circling until a sale.
One of each voyager left at Wyoming Walmart. I did not expect to like Hungrr at all, but it's one of the best torsos ever. Elita-1 is all around terrible, which is a shame because she has some good parts and great headsculpts. Colors and disappointment remind me of energon Jetfire.
Forgot to post, but Wal-Mart on Coors Bypass had x2 of each Hun-Gurr and Elita-1 as of Sunday morning.
Has anyone gone to TRUs lately? I know they haven't officially announced their liquidation yet, but it looks like people are rushing to the TRU's everywhere and emptying them out before the sales hit. What are they like in ABQ?
Friday night I went there and spoke with my friend who is one of the managers. He said they were doing X-mas numbers and they didn't even have a sale going on. I only noticed one aisle that had looked like it had been kinda picked clean which was the Roblox/Minecraft stuff. Sunday morning I went to Westside and it was dead. But I was told it was because Church hadn't been let out yet.
