Is...Kremzeek coming out of that girl's skirt? >_< 0_0
Also, MP-Megs is alright I guess.
I think it's the same prototype from that leaked photo. There's no altmode pic as of yet, indicating that maybe this prototype doesn't even transform properly (if not, they would have shown him transformed). He also still have those stands to hold him in place. The first pics of MP Starscream had him in both modes, and the resin/plastic was different. I think there'll be more changes until we see the final thing.
Still looks great. Can't wait to put my hands on him.
Anyone notice the P-38 etching on his chest?
They should've made his Decepticon chest logo a reversible piece of plastic.
I love it. I hope I can afford it.
MEgs looks good, but not as I would hope. His height however is right on what it needs to be. After seeing these pics, I guess takara has decided MP means the alt mode comes first.
So far, so good… Won't form a definite opinion until I see the final product next spring, though.
Holy S***, he is a MONSTER. Wow, I'm glad that this is the actual proto.
Man he is HUGE. That just proves again why Stargreen is below par for Masterpiece line.
The legs do look a little better, I bet they look perfect from a side or 3/4 view.
I only have one semi complaint, He looks a little too big compared to MP Prime. Not by much, but I always thought Prime was slightly taller, like Megatron came up to Primes nose. It's weird how they made MP-03 a midget and Megatron so big. I don't care that much, I would much rather have him slightly bigger than way too small like MP-03.
Can't wait to see how it progresses. This almost makes up for the MP-03 crappiness.
Well, you're on the right track. Idol is Japanese slang/polularized word for "pop star". So...
After looking at the pics in detail, I bet you can pose him so that the legs are more compact making them look bulkier and making him a little shorter.
In that pic his waist line seems way too high, but if you collapsed the legs a little at the knee joint he might look just right.
Compared to original photo.
Does it look like he has a spring-action trigger on the back of his fusion cannon in the shot with Prime?
Or am I just seeing things?
Re: the Tapes
It looks like their color schemes are kind of based on the three KISS girls. At least the Laserbeak and Ravage molds. Laserbeak looks like he's based off Xiao Xiao and Ravage is based off Atari.... right down to the little medical cross.
Sorry if someone already mentioned this.
To me it looks like the little handles that flipped out on the original's fusion cannon, for when his accessories were made into a cannon with a seat, for Microman figures (that bit of the instructions wasn't in the TF release, but the instructions for my Microchange MC-13 clearly show it).
I am loving this design. To my mind the only slight flaw is the thinness of the legs, but I can deal with that considering that everything else I've seen so far = LOVE.
Tapes - average. Kreemzeek - crap. Couldn't care less about it.
I absolutely love Megs! Seems the only thing missing on hi head scuplt is the signature v-shaped forehead plate with the two black triangles. I wonder if that'll be painted on, or if we're getting a MP Megs sans v-forehead
1-Megatron looks good. Skinny legs but the figure itself rocks!!!
2-Why is Kremzeek under Atari's skirt?
Masterpiece Megatron = and since I love my g1 cassettes those are a must.
MP Megatron! OMG1 OMG! OMG!!
The tapes are ok. Instead of reissuing these guys for the gazillionth time why could they not have made the combiners or dinos?
In before "Omg there's stuff hanging off his hips!!"
Anyways, it does look pretty cool- though it still has that "scratchbuild/kitbash" feeling to it, instead of a streamlined production toy. I can't wait to see it painted up.
I don't really buy tfs anymore but I will get that as soon as I can. If it's notbetter colored than masterpeice screamer I may pass though.
Megatron is THE GREATEST!
It all depends on the molds they have available to them. If Takara could use the other cassette molds, I am sure they would have by now.
