The Franchise is looking at a bright future with 3 new movies let\'s just hope it proves successful unlike previous movies and hope the team creating this are actual fans unlike the previous director who didn\'t like transformers at all

I guess I’m in the minority. I didn’t like the Bumblebee movie. The best part for me was the Cybertron battle sequence at the beginning. It went downhill from there.
I’ve tried to watch Beast Wars in its entirety 2-3 times in my life. Starting when it aired originally. It just doesn’t grab me. But, I’d prefer it to another Bumblebee movie. Let the Beast Wars fans get some love!

I have, son, and that's why I'm asking.
What counts as "live-action" and "animated"?

You have got to be joking.
There is absolutely no way in hell that is a serious question.

There's a company near me that hauls gravel or something and has several Optimus Prime style trucks that I see every single day. I've never seen a flame truck though....

I'm pretty sure he's asking if you are saying you want it to be animated like say the original BW TFP TFA or like the battle of Cybertron in Bumblebee

Animated as in no room for real life humans on screen.
    Not hard to understand.

So again, he has to be joking.
    "What counts as 'live action'"?
    Real people being on screen.
    :banghead:
Seriously, what kind of question is that?

If Beast Wars gets made, I just want them to use Chalk and Kay for the voices. Chalk could use his regular optimus voice since it's very grounded, and Kay would have to be less cartoony, but he can pull off the deep voice. Actually his Apocalypse voice from X-men Evolution would be perfect for a live action movie

Wouldn't be a very solid plan by the Preds; Neanderthals were believed to have been at least intelligent enough to produce art, and other things more associated with modern humans....if you're of European descent, you have traces of Neanderthal DNA in you too (they cross bred with Homo Sapiens - us).

We ended up outcompeting and wiping out Homo Neandertales, as well as other hominids such as Homo Denisova in Asia and Homo Floresiensis (hobbits) in remote places around the world, so maaaaybe it wouldn't make for the best family movie to remind audiences about how our race only exists today because we were better at genocide than other human species.

Anyway, if it really is a case of "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!", as much as I'd love to see Beast Wars on the big screen, chances are it'll be the Bumblebee sequel that wins out. They've had proven success with that already, and the concept/design aesthetic doesn't stray too far away from what they know audiences enjoyed and have been familiar with since 2007.

Maybe something to do with their acquisition of that media conglomerate last year.

That's what I was thinking. I love Beast Wars but I know it just doesn't have that selling power... not yet. One day there will be a Beast Wars rising. Just not yet.

Knightverse? You mean bay verse. T bumblebee movie is a direct prequel to all the bay movies, not a reboot.

    Well, not all.
    The first 3, sure.
But it kinda retcons AOE and TLK out of existance.

As much as I love the idea of a Beast Wars movie, a movie in the Bumblebee story line would be WAY safer. I'd rather them take less risk right now.
