It’s alright, but the TR cassettes completely suck.

 

I bet Earthrise would have been extended too. At least, Hasbro would have given a more accessible release of the figures that had become store exclusives (both for Earthrise as well as some upcoming Kingdom ones like Red Alert and Sideswipe).

Siege was the first time since HFTD that I’ve actually been bonkers about collecting. 2012-2018 did not leave a good taste in my mouth. Swore off collecting non-MPs after Combiner Wars...

...until the newer MPs became ungodly expensive and prone to major QC issues

Happy to see the John Warden era is ending on quite a high note as far as the main lines are concerned. These will be my definitive representations of the G1 cast. MPs are way too expensive and fragile to keep collecting regularly. I’d rather lose the ab crunch and hyper-Sunbow accuracy than risk breaking another MP by following directions (Sunstreaker, Tracks, Lio Convoy), or having paint flakes visible before lifting it out of the plastic tray (also Lio Convoy), or not being able to transform it between modes without wanting a sledgehammer (MP-48).

 

I just want Blaster, I’d be ok with using the Siege or otherwise cassettes as his Cassettes

 

I'm really looking forward to Blaster but not to much the cassettes. Ratbat is the only one of them that I display outside of Soundwave and Soundblaster's chest.


I mean honestly, these two haven't evolved past G1's pair. So another repaint of this mold that'll be Eject won't leave Blaster's chest the same way that SIEGE Ravage will never leave my Soundblaster's chest.

So here's hoping I can find the PE's Rewinder and Ejector somewhere for a decent price accompanied with TR Ramhorn (maybe) and these two MP's...

Hyped for Blaster, though im suprised hes coming in Kingdom over SS86. Also please let Buzzworthy give us a bee with his Devastation alt mode, love that game!

Not a fan of RED at all though. There are better transforming figures hitting the shelves anyway. If anything the budget should've gone to making an Arcee and Megs to go with the upcoming Prime Op and Bulkhead.

 

I'm guessing if Eject comes with Blaster as the mainline release, the Twincast redeco that's been hinted at would probably come with Rewind. The remaining ones would probably come in a pack, yes.

Steeljaw is not a ravage recolor in the show. His design in the show was based on his toy, which is a lion not a panther.

Stripes is an Autobot cassette who is a recolor of Ravage, but he never appeared in the show at all.

 

I hate to say it...but the only figures I see on shelves here are the beasts and Arcee...lots and lots of Arcee....

As for what even a success means to Hasbro....we were all SURE the rest of the Headmasters and Targetmasters were a lock after Titans return did better than TFs had done in years, and we see how quickly we got the rest of the Headmasters and Targetmasters,,,,   Heck, we had a line BASED around Targetmasters that failed to give us any of the Targetmasters except Crosshairs!

 

Rumble and Frenzy are okay, but I never liked the 3 toe design. I hope rewind is a completely new mold, he might be, since he's a pack-in.

I would freak out if they gave Blaster the same treatment as Netflix Soundwave and gave us both Steeljaw and Ramhorn. Eject and Rewind could come in a separate box set with Overkill and Slugfest!!! :0

 

While I want to get all the minibots in Deluxe class, Wheelie is the sole minibots I feel would work in Core class. He's smaller than even Bee and Cliff, so I really don't think he need Deluxe, but I would like a proper transforming one.

 

We\'re getting another version of Hot Rod?  I guess if he came with Daniel with a hover boad,  a fishing rod and fish, I might bite, but I would rather get a different bot.

 

Please repaint him to Twincast!
